We’ve eaten at HOG a number of times and are greeted warmly and find the food predictably delicious. We’ve gotten the appetizer chips several times and find them addictive! The center cut serving of sea bass was a special and was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The chicken is so good both of us have ordered it at different times and continue to do so. Their salads are delicious as well, and being able to order a half salad is a nice touch. An absolute winner!!!

Absolutely phenomenal. I loved everything about it, including getting to speak with the owner. I can’t believe it’s not lines out the door and wish I could help make that happen. I am such a fan of this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Brunch was excellent. Perfect veggie benedict. Great wine selection and drinks. Must visit when in Richmond.

This was a 5-course wine-pairing dinner that was oversold by its menu description. The writer did a marvelous job describing the five courses in the online description and invitation...making them not only appealing but also mouth-watering. The presentation attempts of the courses far outweighed the quality and tastes of them. The "Colossal Seafood Cocktail" was small with medium-small shrimp, chewy lobster, scraps of crabmeat (vs. "colossal crabmeat") and cocktail sauce covered everything. The second course of "Grilled Caesar Salad" was the best of the five courses in both presentation and taste despite the romaine not being grilled. "Lobster Thermidor" was the third course. It was overcooked and tough despite the sherry cream sauce with truffle bread crumbs being tasty. The "Steak Diane" fourth course of "Center cut beef tenderloin cooked medium rare ONLY" was medium and chewy. The "Classic Baked Alaska" fifth course was anything but "classic" except possibly a classic melted ice cream sundae with pound cake and chocolate sauce with some fruit. The only things that saved this dinner was the Adam the phone person, the five excellent wines, the wine director, and our excellent, attentive waitress!

Best restaurant experience in awhile. The menu was interesting. The food and portions were fantastic. The service was excellent. I’ll be going back for sure, and I haven’t said that much recently.

Everything was fresh and delicious. Wonderful wine list, excellent service and easily accommodated our gluten free (celiac) diner.

Henley on Grace is a delight. The owner sets the tone with his hospitality, knowledge of food and wine and the wait staff is great. The food is delicious. We each had the truffle chips- too good to share-my husband loved the grilled naan truffle mushroom bread for dinner and I thoroughly enjoyed the Henley salad. Crême Brûlée cheesecake had me scraping up all the bits of caramel and cream! Everything was just right. Put Henley on Grace in your regular rotation of good, thoughtful and refreshing places to eat in RVA.

Great experience! We had a large group for Sunday brunch. They were able to accommodate us with a group of 9. The food was great! They accommodated our picky eater by allowing substitutions.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant is small but you don’t feel crowded. Food was excellent and well presented. Seafood pasta is fantastic along with the salmon crustiny. We shared two desserts that were very good.
