It was just okay. The food compared to the other brunch locations was just okay. I would visit again but not for brunch. The amount of food vs the amount I paid was not at all equal. Over priced and not worth it

I think the food was pricey especially when you add in the bottomless mimosas. I didn't really feel this was a $115 per person experience( including tax and tip). Not to say that the food wasn't good or the experience was bad, just saying that it's probably about $40 overpriced compared to similar experiences.

Our server Tia was outstanding! She was so charming, attentive and really wanted to make certain we had a great experience. Our drinks were delicious and we enjoyed our appetizers and dessert (Fried Green Tomatoes and Apple Brown Betty!) Tia sought feedback on all dishes served. Our least favorite dish was the crab soup that my husband ordered and I tasted. It was really salty and just did not stand up. Tia made sure we were not charged for this dish. Over all highly recommend and would return when we come back to town!

I loved everything about this restaurant. The hostess greeted us with care, our server, Tia, was SUPERB, and made great recommendations. The vibe is very sexy, mature and grown. The water views are an added bonus. The food was delicious. Everything from the deviled eggs appetizer to our main course. The drinks were also very good. Highly recommend this restaurant and location in DC.

Amazing! Came to surprise my husband for his birthday and it was nothing short of amazing. Our server August was great with drinks selection, and explaining the process for brunch. Bobby, the manager was great with helping, accommodate all of our guest. Food and drinks were on point! Will definitely be coming back!!

I really enjoyed the brunch buffet on Saturday. It was everything you could expect, even more. We had a great server and the drinks were out of this world. Looking forward to going again!

The service was top notch, everyone was beyond friendly and accommodating! The food however, mid at best. Not sure if the 2:15 time is a bad time to go or what; but the food was certainly cold. If the food would’ve been hot, it would’ve been A1.

This was my first time at Hen Quarter Prime. As we entered the door, we were warmly greeted by Crystal. She immediately introduced herself, and asked if we’d wait for her to check on our seating. She returned and asked that she follow us to the seating area. As we walked through the restaurant, we couldn’t help but to notice the beautiful decor and the lovely food buffet we were rather to indulge in. As we passed seating we were puzzled as to why we weren’t being seated, until we were escorted in to a PRIVATE dining room!! Shocked and thinking that a mistake was made, Crystal explained to us that due to seating constraints in the main dining area, she made the decision to seat us in the private dining area for comfort. FAVOR is the first word that came to mind, as I assured my friends that I had not reserved a private room for us. We felt special and were thoroughly pleased to have been granted such an exclusive experience for our first time there. Crystal shared with us that she was a 20+ year educator in the DC Public School System, and that she was glad to accommodate us. Crystal was professional and A M A Z I N G!!! Jordan a Howard University student was our server. She was absolutely AMAZING!! She introduced herself, went over the menu, explained to us that she would be taking care of our every need while dining, and explained thoroughly about the ordering of omeletes. Jordan checked on us often throughout our time there, and shared in on many of our laughs. Jordan was very surprised to know that we had all been friends for more than 30 years, despite the fact that we didn’t look over 40🤗. Most waiters don’t like large parties…Jordan thanked us for making her experience with a large party a pleasant one, and invited us to dine there again. We would definitely without a doubt request Jordan as our server!!! Overall, our experience with HQ Prime was a positive one, and we look forward to returning.
