                                                                                              We enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner for our son at Heist. The green and gold dining room is elegant and beautifully lighted. Our servers were attentive, personable and professional. The food was simply delicious and perfectly seasoned. We all tried different menu items so we could taste each other’s plates. Everything was delectable. Our meal hit all points for its menu variety, quality, quantity, plated visual appeal, texture, and food temperature. We highly recommend this restaurant.

                                                                                              Sadly not a great experience this time. Our reservation was for 6pm. We still didn’t have our meals at 7:30. Didn’t finish until 9pm and we had no dessert. Service wasn’t great and food was just ok. Disappointing experience.

                                                                                              The restaurant itself is stunning . Divided into rooms makes it quiet , romantic and more personal. Our server was excellent. I wish I got his name but he was a student at Queens from BC . Very attentive, polite and friendly. The food was spectacular. The portions are not small . The food is fresh, delicious and had a lot of attention to detail. Would highly recommend and return .

                                                                                              We were seated next to a group of 12 or more people. We were in the corner and they were extremely loud. The 3 of us were very annoyed by the loudness because we couldn’t hear each other talk. I requested to our waiter if we could move but the hostess couldn’t accommodate us. We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday and she was excited to eat for the first time at The Heist. It was a disappointment and all we wanted to do was eat and leave. My food didn’t have any taste and my husband’s pizza was okay. My daughter’s handkerchief pasta was good. Nothing was excellent, not the food, not the ambience. Not going back again. Our waiter was excellent. Very professional and friendly.

                                                                                              I'd like to start by saying the service and the food were outstanding. I went there for the 1st time with my husband for our anniversary. The table set up was terrible. I felt like even though we were at a table for 2, we are part of the dinner party next to us because the tables were so close. I felt we couldn't even have a conversation because everyone was listening, we were definitely listening to the table next to us. They were on there first date! When I booked through open table, it had a spot for additional requests / comments. I put that we were on our anniversary. I just would have hoped there was a more private dining experience, not feeling like I was in a cafeteria. When I went to the bathroom, which were beautiful. I passed this dining room, with beautiful green velvet dining chairs, and it was fairly empty. I'm not sure if it was a private dining room, or open to the public. If it was it would have been really nice to have been given the option. All in all the food and service were excellent. I was looking for a more intimate dining experience for our anniversary, and that it definitely was not.
