Heirloom is a creative farm-to-table restaurant that focuses on elevated local recipes from Virginia.

We partner with local farmers and waterman to bring the freshest ingredients to our table. We offer seafood-driven and locally minded menus focused on quality and seasonality. Heirloom features a mindful bar program with classically influenced cocktails made with carefully selected ingredients and innovative technique. The wine program will be sourced from all over the world, with a spotlight on exciting Virginia wine. We are proud to possess an approachable and diverse list, with bottles for every palate and price point.

    We set up reservations and asked to be seated at a both and we were told it was reserved for someone else. To find out it was given to a couple that just walked in and did not RSVP. The seat was in a high traffic area and we could hear everyone else conversations over ours. To top it off I was elbowed by the server and 2 guest ran into my wife while eating her food. Great food just the wrong seat.

    Still my favorite restaurant! Service was a little slow — we had a late reservation, but it seemed like it took a long time for our entrees to come to table. But the food was EXCELLENT and worth the wait.

    Heirloom is a beautiful spot though a little quiet for a Thursday night…things just close earlier down here than I was expecting :-) The food was amazing in concept but there were a few execution missteps which can’t be chalked up to personal preference. The mushroom toast appetizer was tasty but the potato balls were harder than expected and not particularly pleasant to eat. My crab cake entree had so much promise, the cakes were just barely held together beautiful large lump crabmeat, but the salt level obliterated the sweetness of the crab. My sister’s burger looked good and while she did ask for medium well, the intense grill char on the outside imparted a bitter flavor to the meat. Definitely a spot worth visiting and I hope they can dial in a few things to make it a true five star experience.

    Creative dishes. Superb service. Beautifully quiet. We were visitors to Virginia Beach. Wish Heirloom was in our home town!

    Celebrated our 17th Wedding Anniversary here and it was absolutely spectacular and delicious !!! Highly recommend it to anyone.

    Can’t go wrong especially if you happen to be there from 4-5:30 and catch the Happy Hour. Everything was delicious don’t skip the fried snapper and get dessert!
