    Mark is my favorite chef in the area. Tried the new addition lamb shank and it was perfectly prepared. Modern, unpretentious, upscale cuisine, always executed perfectly. Menu is typically concise, comprised of locally sourced ingredients. Service and ambiance is better than distilled although I lean ever so slightly toward distilled menu because of the Cajun inspiration. Never had a bad experience at either of his restaurants. Very talented chef we are grateful to have cooking for us locally.

    The food was delicious and the service outstanding! We had reserved a booth, weeks in advance, and the restaurant was busy. There was a very loud table in the front window and a large party at the table in the middle. The hostess did a terrible job. Instead of seating us at the back of the restaurant, she put us in the first booth next to both loud parties. We were yelling at each other to have conversation! Too late, we realized that both back booths had remained empty our entire meal. It would have been a much more enjoyable experience if the hostess had given a little thought to her job!!

    Went for Birthday dinner. We usually love Heirloom, however this time the service was terrible. Sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. The waitress was nice but they were clearly under staffed and extremely slow.
