Great food and great friendly service. The spinach salad is amazing. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Lexington area.

We have enjoyed Heirloom many times, but our experience can be hit-or-miss. We’ve concluded that the busier the night, the more likely things will fall below their own high standards. Last night (a Saturday), the mussels came out lukewarm and quickly turned cold. They were properly cooked, but had just been sitting too long without keeping them warm. The lamb shank, served at the same time, was the perfect temperature. We’d also love to see Heirloom upgrade its bread and croutons (plain / stale), and its champagne-by-the-glass options (currently none). We’re BiG fans and will be back, although we’ll probably skip Fridays and Saturdays in the future.

Another great night at Heirloom. The soup du jour was Roasted Red Pepper with Smoked Provolone. It was fantastic. We shared a Mushroom Stuffed Ravioli with an Over Easy Egg on top. Great flavor combinations. For dinner we shared the special of the night, Ribeye served over Haricot Vert over Potato Pave. The steak also had Bearnaise sauce over the top. Wonderful meal and wonderful place.

I have enjoyed many lovely meals at Heirloom. Today I took a good friend for her birthday lunch and we enjoyed the environment and most of the food. However my friend had the fish and chips and the batter on the fish was hard as a rock! She had to break off the end of the batter and dig the fish out like it was a lobster tail! She said the fish was moist and good…but the batter was impenetrable. The wait staff were nice, but no one checked to see how our meal was. If they had checked, we would have let them know the fried batter was inedible. I was disappointed as I was treating her to a special lunch and her meal turned out to be a dud. The fries (chips) however were excellent.

Our meals & beverages were delicious. We were all professional colleagues (Louisville, G’town & Lex) and decided to meet in Midway & catch up. Lovely restaurant. We had no problem hearing our conversations.

Always a beautifully crafted and curated meal at Heirloom. Filet was tastefully paired with the perfect portion of vegetables and sweet roasted garlic. The fish was personalized for my husband. The wait staff took great pride in not only the food but in the chef and the restaurant. They made sure that we had a delightful evening.
