We dined at Heddon Street Kitchen with a Travelzoo voucher which gave us 3 course dinners for two with a glass of Champaigne each. We chose Starters of Beer Battered Cod Bites and Roasted Pepper & Tomato Gazpacho, Mains of Steamed Sea Bream and Harissa Marinated Lamb Ribs, and Desserts of Pannacotta with Strawberries and a Chocolate Brownie with salted Carmel ice cream. Food was all good to very good but nothing exceptional as I was expecting from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Ambiance was lively and loud. Service was exceptional! Our server, Lidia, was attentive without being intrusive, totally professional and personable. We will definitely be back.

Nice, safe bet. Food is nice and service was high quality. Quite spacious and good for informal/formal breakfasts & lunches.

Marco made our night. We started with drinks that he made and then he got our table ready since we were ordering the Wellington and needed to give it time. Really made my birthday dinner special. All of the staff were wonderful. The food was the best I have ever had. I can’t wait to come back.

Good food. Service was ok, a little slow to start with and had to chase my appetiser twice.. came out same time as the starter which was pointless. Mains were good - fish and chips were amazing!

We had the best lunch. The Beef Wellington Experience was superb. The service was the perfect mix of attentive and relaxed Definitely recommend, but dont eat before you come. Portions were huge

We visited London last week & pre booked for lunch . We had such an excellent experience we decided to book again for dinner before we left London. We had the lovely pleasure of meeting Anna the manageress . What a lovely attentive member of staff she is . So friendly & she most certainly runs a great restaurant. Everyone had a smile & looked like they enjoyed their job, also very smart in appearance , but Anna really did stand out for us We have already recommended the restaurant to our friends back home in the Isle of Man who make regular trips to London for theatre performances & business trips . When we return to London we definitely be re booking. Our daughter & son in law also had an excellent experience along with their 2 children . Deserves more than 5stars & Anna is a gem

My wife and I with guests have dinned at GR Restaurants for years, but unfortunately this meal was the worst experience we’ve had and the only bad one at a GR venue. We arrived and a gentlemen in a bright suit took us downstairs to HD, he was friendly, great service and we had 1 drink before heading to the restaurant. This is where the good service and experience went backwards. We ordered drinks including a bottle of Veuve. When drinks arrived they were just put on table, or in the case of my sons drinks on top of his menu, and the Veuve was poured for my wife and I but was warm and then put in ice. Julia serving us also spilt it with no apology. We ordered food and in the order was chateaubriand. Unfortunately whilst waiting for food my daughter had a very bad migraine as was unwell on the way to bathroom. The staff did clean things up quickly but at no point did anyone check on her. Whilst she was poorly our food arrived and I explained my daughter was downstairs not well so I doubt she will be able to eat her food so please don’t bring it and can they keep my wife’s food warm. This was not handled well and Julia) came across confused. My daughter came back and they brought her the food and over 30 mins later eventually took it away after I asked the gentlemen in the suit to take it with her being poorly. This was then brought back again in a takeaway bag. At no point during the meal did anyone do a check back, we waited 30 minutes for 1 coke and I had to ask twice for it, I had to keep getting up to get our bottle out of champagne from the ice bucket to pour it and it was 35 mins to get the bill, again after asking twice. When paying Laura didn’t ask if everything was okay and thankfully no service charge was added as for the first time ever I would have asked for it to be removed. Our bill was nearly £400 due to the champagne and chateaubriand. It’s disappointing to write this after never having a bad experience and being a regular diner with GR.

This was my 6th time visiting this restaurant and was probably my last. While I had previously had good experiences here in the past, last night’s dinner experience left my frustrated, and I felt taken advantage of. We arrived early to beat the dinner crowd and despite this, experienced a very long wait for our main course to be served. The porterhouse for two was served overcooked and extremely dry, and came at a very high price point. I have eaten at steakhouses all over the world and felt this steak was extremely overpriced. It took nearly 2 hours to finish our dinner service, and while the wait staff was apologetic, by the end of the ordeal, we just wanted to leave. 3 glasses of wine, 2 starters, 2 sides, and our steak ran us about $375. Absolutely not worth it.

I was disappointed with my meal, it was ok, but not full of flavour. The staff were lovely and attentive and the place was great, nice seating outside.
