We are situated in the village of Hurtmore, near Godalming and Guildford, with easy access just off the A3.

We would like to introduce The NEW Heaven’s Kitchen Steakhouse at The Squirrel Inn
We offer all the same steaks along with some pub classics. In addition, The Squirrel has more to offer, it boasts an outdoor children’s play area, large outside terrace, on-site parking, more range of beers and ales and not only that, it can accommodate larger groups. Come visit us and enjoy a quintessential country pub paired with the best steakhouse in Surrey.

We pride ourselves on locally sourced food and a wide ranging selection of real ales from across the country. In the summer our outside dining areas, all decorated with beautiful hanging flower baskets, really come into their own. It’s the perfect setting for a family gathering or a quiet drink with friends.

We also have letting rooms within our beautifully refurbished 16th Century Cottages

After our second visit within a month, I cannot recommend Heavens Kitchen enough!! Very warm greeting from the waiting staff who allowed us to pick our preferred seats, and once seated, it wasn't long before the very friendly manager came and offered a personal greeting, as well as recommendations of certain fresh items from the seasonal menu. The bar staff kept the refreshing cocktails coming, all with a distinct, personal touch that makes them all very moorish. (Especially with 2-4-1 on Fridays). It wasn't a long wait until our starters arrived, and that just teased the appetite for our amazing steak mains. There is no debate that they have earned the title 'Steakhouse'. Both Black Angus fillet steaks were cooked to perfection with plenty of trimmings that left us both too full for dessert. After eating, we stuck around for the live music they have every Friday and yet again, we were not disappointed!! And combine that with more cocktails, it was a wonderful way to spend an evening and worth every penny!! Anyone looking for somewhere to get great quality luxury food, accompanied with wonderful staff and a friendly atmosphere, look no further!!

The quality of the steak was poor, very disappointing as we chose this restaurant specifically for the steaks. Everything else was great.

The pub is rather drab. Menu is geared to the hearty eater not much if you are looking for low calorie food and no indication on the menu for calories per meal.

Had a great family lunch with superb Sunday roasts all round. Beef particularly was amazing! Good food, good service, good location and very useful big playground for the kids as well. Highly recommended

Excellent menu options, wonderfully prepared and presented food with excellent service. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful providing advice on the menu options.

We had an excellent special lunch for my husband’s birthday. The weather was perfect so we sat outside. The waiting staff were very attentive and we had the 5 course set menu which was super tasty with plenty of options. Thank you for making it a special lunch. Anna

Sadly the meat was undercooked, lots of the other ingredients were undercooked.

A lunch for group of ramblers. Lovely roomy table in light, airy environment with wonderfully comfortable chairs. Attentive service and great food. A favourite venue for our lunches.
