We enjoy our choice of the Traditional Breakfast at Hearth. Good value and so well presented. A wonderful and friendly server as well. Bright and cheery atmosphere.

We always love Hearth, but we do miss the ambience and intimacy of the previous location. I miss the tea cups!

We had the "Tasting Menu" and added the beverage pairing. This is a rotating menu so I believe each month it's new courses. They bring you an amuse bouche to start which was a thin cracker and smoked cottage cheese it was delicious! The first course was a cucumber salad with sunflower seeds, pickled onion, and smoked cottage cheese which was amazing. The second course were the Mushrooms served with fresh toasted sourdough. We've had these multiple times and they never disappoint! The third course was a stuffed pasta, which was the largest plate, but it was a little sour. The fourth course was their beef of the day - I can't remember the cut, but it was a steak. It's quite small I'd say about 3oz and it was overcooked. They never asked how we'd like it cooked, ad we like it rare, so I am unsure if for the tasting it's always done medium. And finally, the last course was the sticky toffee pudding which was unreal - one of our favorite desserts in the city!

I had the popcorn fries without the parmesan. It was delicious - very nicely flavoured, with a little kick. For my entree I got the eggplant dish - something I am nervous about trying to cook at home. It was great - the quinoa was delicious, and the sauce was a great addition. I added a side of GF ciabatta bread - it was a nice addition to the meal.

Great service and ambience. The fish fry and pate were outstanding. A bit less impressed with my special of the day bolognese, which was a ton of pasta but lacking a bit of meat sauce. They forgot a lemonade which we'd ordered for our kid, but kindly comped the lemonade once they realized. Overall, we enjoyed Hearth a lot and would definitely come back.
