We came in for a birthday celebration tonight. We ordered the crown roast experience and WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! This menu item is the BEST way to experience so many menu items. The chef came to our table to make sure we were happy and to see if we had any questions, we did and his answers were detailed as well as educational. Thank you Chef Rupert. The service was exceptional, Renata offered suggestions, and we enjoyed her witty personality. The ambiance was first class, comfortable and historic. We will definitely return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars.

Service was quite good, especially when ginger beef came out undercooked. I appreciate that they brought us a new one and took it off the bill. My two issues were 1) food wasn't that great. Fries were soggy and not very appetizing. My husband said the burger didn't have much flavor. 2) Music ensemble did not fit the vibe for a Friday night. It was sappy, soft and dull—all songs in sad, minor keys. My husband and I would've much preferred something with more energy and it hugely detracted from our night out :(

Excellent dining experience last night on the inday series.ca event by Filipino Canadian chefs! Their creativity and execution of time-honored dishes influenced by their respective journeys in Canadian culsine did not fail to transport one to warm memories of their brief childhood back home. Bravo to event organizers, chefs, kitchen crew and everyone that brought Filipino cuisine to the forefront of world-class cuisine!

Amazing restaurant with very fine dining food experience. Stayed at the hotel for a few days after my wedding and we came here to eat the following day, best meal of my life. We had the Chateaubriand with bourbon butter and mushroom dust, roasted heirloom tomatoes with labneh and oil, and the prairie fries with truffle aioli. Perfect amount of food for us and cooked to perfection. The wine we had was also incredible. And we were brought a celebration piece of chocolate cake which was the best chocolate cake both of us have ever had! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Had Thanksgiving dinner there. At $60 per person, I was expecting an excellent experience. The food was good but the portions were miniscule. Main course took over an hour to be served. Wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back. I had a similar experience at one of Fairmont’s Hawaiian properties recently. Doesn’t seem like delivering value for money is a priority for Fairmont at their restaurants.

We went to the Hawthorn restaurant for their special Thanksgiving dinner with my family. The food was very average. The risotto was way too cooked, like a puree. The turkey was dry and not very tasty. Entree and dessert were just ok. Quantities were small, luckily we got lot of bread (see below). Service could have been better. Really friendly waitress but the drink order was wrong. When we asked for extra bread, we always got twice the order. Ambiance and location were great, it's a nice dinning room and comfy seating! Overall the cost of the meal (over $500 for 5 persons) was higher than the perceived value despite the nice place and time we spent there. I would not recommend except if you are looking for a nice place to go and if you are not too picky on food.

Our server was very efficient and recommended a glass of wine to suit my taste preference. Food was just ok, the chef needs to level up the taste and quality of the dishes.
