We had the tasting meal. First two courses (fish) were mediocre and the fish didn’t taste as fresh as it should. Duck dish was ok but not fabulous. The dessert dish , however, was excellent! Much higher quality than the earlier courses. The wine by the glass menu is weak. Overall, not a particularly imaginative restaurant.

We went for my birthday and was greeted in. Conversation was going well but when the waiter came over (tall guy with a bit of an accent) he didn’t seem to care much about us at all. Whenever we ordered a dish, he would try to upsell it with a different side or something else. I get that foods have certain pairings but this one felt forced and pushy. He also took away our fries when there was a few left so that was really rude. Anyone could see that there was fries inside still but he didn’t care. All in all, would never go back. That experience was so off putting especially for a fine dining restaurant.

Services rapides très bonne nourriture mais on nous a apporter la facture rapidement après la dernière bouchée… j’ai trouvé ca ordinaire sinon rien à redire

If you’re looking for that special upper scale restaurant in downtown Vancouver with unique decor, professional service and exemplary food and drinks, Hawksworth is well worthy of your visit. Thank you so very much Roman for making our midday,weekend celebration of a dear friend’s special Birthday Luncheon all the more special!!

We had a nice time but definitely were mixed on our food. The buratta appetizer was fine but not super exciting. My sablefish was under but it was fine. My husband loved his lobster tail. Said it was one of his best meals of the year. So we are a bit mixed. Service was good but also not great. For the price we just expected more I think.

The Lunch tasting menu is delicious and affordable! Because we were there on a friday we got the deal on the oysters and the bubbles. The staff was great and made us feel very comfortable. I recommend it and will come back.

We both had the tasting menu, and were in awe over each course. The service is top class. Absolutely delicious and delightful.

Amazing meal! The halibut was perfect and the charred broccolini was to die for. Spot on service from Bertrand!
