    lived in Vancouver for years, I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before. In my opinion, if you don't want to feel dismissed or profiled when trying to have a nice dinner, be warned. I will never return.

    Unfortunately the taster menu was unavailable which is why we booked our table so this was a disapointment. The regular menu, although rather restricted in options was excellent and the service was exceptional. The markup on the wine was higher than most restaurants.

    The service was extremely slow. We did the Christmas tasting menu and it took 45 minutes between each course.

    The food was quite excellent as usual but the service wasn’t as sharp as on previous visits. It took our party a long time to be seated by the hostess and while our server was nice, it took them a long time to come take our order too. We were also celebrating an anniversary, which went completely unnoticed by the staff. Still a nice evening out but not as sharp as before.

    Hawksworth is ranked one of the best in Vancouver year after year for good reason. The food is delicious and the service is always impeccable.

    Very crowded dining room… tables packed so close to each other that waiters serving the tables left and right of us had their bums within 10 inches of our faces ( this was about every couple of minutes). My iPhone decibel meter showed 90-92 decibels making it very difficult to converse with my wife, making the experience uncomfortable. The temperature in the dining room was extremely hot. The food was delicious , wait staff were very professional . I wanted to order the Hawksworth burger but was told not in the dining room. All in all $318 before tip .

    Excellent food very well crafted and full of flavour. Exceptionally good personalized service by server B. Ambience in line with the type of resturant. An excellent Tasting menu experience. Highly recommended.

    the noise level is very high during dinner time, particularly on Fridays and weekends. If you plan to talk to your dinner companions, this isn't an ideal place!
