Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar, The Lowback. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Parties of 8+ guests have the option to dine from one of our delicious sharing menus, and for 13+ guests these menus are compulsory: Moonlighter (£62-67), Silvertail (£73-78) or Hawkabelle (£93-98). These include some of our most popular cuts of steak served with crowd-pleasing Hawksmoor sides. Please select one menu for the entire group. Your guests will then get all dishes on that menu to share. The team will get in touch with you once your booking is made to find out your menu and any dietary requirements. In the absence of a choice for your group, we will serve the 3-courses Silvertail menu (£78pp). This summer, we’re offering a main paired with a choice of iconic Hawksmoor salads for just £19.50. Featuring classic Hawksmoor staples, such as 35-day dry aged Rump steak with gentleman’s relish, alongside new dishes like the irresistible charcoal chicken Ana Mari or Chalk stream trout – you can then pick your favourite salad sidekick from a line-up of Hawksmoor Caesar, Heritage tomatoes, English lettuce & herb or Bitter leaf, blue cheese & pecan. Available Monday to Friday for lunch bookings of up to 6 people.

Amazing food and excellent selection of wine. The beef dripping fries and bone marrow gravy were something special, along with the steak. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Hawksmoor. Will definitely visiting again.

Great food and service. Cannot find any flaws with Hawksmoor as they deliver every time and is my favourite restaurant.

My wife and I had a lovely experience and meal at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf. The restaurant was impressive, spotless, and very welcoming. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant again in the near future, highly recommend.

Although the food was lovely and would definitely recommend the Sunday roast we were very let down by the service. We ordered drinks at the start which didn’t arrive until after we had eaten our starter. One drink was still forgotten. We also had to sit with empty glasses And a can on the table as they were never cleared until the whole table was cleared at the end of our meal.

The waitress was not friendly. I thin kif you are eating at a place where customers are spending a bot of money all waiters and waitresses should be 100%.
