Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar, The Lowback. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Outstanding dining experience! From the warm greeting at reception to Matt’s exceptional service, everything was top-notch. The food was cooked to perfection—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food and impeccable service!

Great service! The food was delicious! The only downside was the limited drink variety—my partner isn’t a fan of alcoholic beverages, so she opted for the mocktails, but they didn’t quite meet expectations. However, everything else was good.

Slow service, in an empty restaurant, no attention paid at all and had to constantly chase our drinks order. To top it off the bill for 3 was £500, food was above average though but sides were terrible.

Myself and my guest had a wonderful experience at Hawksmoor. The food was delicious so much choice and so tasty and the service was very friendly and swift. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a lovely lunch or evening dinner and definitely I’m looking forward to coming back with my boyfriend to sample more of the menu, great job Hawksmoor!

I wouldn’t recommend the roast dinner. Beef, carrots and gravy were good, but Yorkshire pudding was like cardboard and cold! Greens were undercooked, potatoes deep fried, Not enough gravy so dinner was dry. Waitress did offer me more, but forgot she’d done so. It turned up when my husband reminded her when my dinner was nearly finished. Cauliflower cheese very crispy on top and tasted like aniseed. Probably tarragon added to it. Not worth the money charged for it. Dessert and coffee were good, but the waitress didn’t bring any hot milk although she was asked when coffee was ordered. First visit to Hawksmoor. It was highly recommended to me. Perhaps main menu is better. I didn’t raise any of this whilst in the restaurant. I didn’t want to spoil their lunch by complaining as seats are close together, thus impossible to be discreet.
