Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

The festive season at Hawksmoor is all about going big. Sharing steaks. Magnums. All the sides. We know some of you like to make a little space for healthier choices in the new year. So, we’re easing you into 2025 with a lunch option that’s good for the body, mind, and bank balance. For January only, enjoy a lean Rump steak and a virtuous side – English lettuce salad, Spinach, Sweet potatoes or (no judgement) indulge with our Beef dripping chips or Caesar salad – for £19.50.

Overall the experience was very good and all 6 of us enjoyed the food and evening. The meat was delicious, but the only things I would say could be improved was the sea food as monkfish was dry and the lobster a bit rubbery. Also the service could have been more attentive.

We had a lovely pre-Christmas evening at your restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was fantastic. The service was also friendly and attentive, even it took a bit longer, but you made the evening perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Awesome evening. Incredible food including possibly the best steak ever….🤔 I eat steak anywhere and everywhere around the world and i honestly believe this really was best ever. Prime bone in was to die for 👌🏼 Service from Prometheus & Louis was exemplary also. Wonderful experience, see you real soon ❤️

Exceptional food and service as always, even on a Friday night! One thing they could do better, is offer a different type of olives as a side dish. They’ve had the same for a few years and they’re pretty dry and tasteless. Did the mistake of ordering again and didn’t even finish them

Great service but unfortunately despite advise of a treenut allergy my husband suffered an allergic reaction which was disappointing

As always with Hawksmoor great food at excellent value. Now I know it's December and the crew is probably exhausted but the service had quite a few faults. We were given complimentary drinks without complaining beforehand so I assume they agree with my previous comment.
