Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar, The Lowback. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Parties of 8+ guests have the option to dine from one of our delicious sharing menus, and for 13+ guests these menus are compulsory: Moonlighter (£62-67), Silvertail (£73-78) or Hawkabelle (£93-98). These include some of our most popular cuts of steak served with crowd-pleasing Hawksmoor sides. Please select one menu for the entire group. Your guests will then get all dishes on that menu to share. The team will get in touch with you once your booking is made to find out your menu and any dietary requirements. In the absence of a choice for your group, we will serve the 3-courses Silvertail menu (£78pp). We had the Sunday roast it was very nice but the roast potatoes need work . They was anemic looking and just wasn’t amazing . The dinner overall is very nice the stuffing is beautiful and loves the decor and atmosphere. The service isn’t amazing but overall a nice experience and I would return .

First time coming to the restaurant, food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and our server matt was the best, not one complaint at all, food arrived on time our glasses were never empty and matt made the experience worth coming, would highly recommend, give that man a pay rise!!!

We had a deal for a 3 course meal and a drink. The food was stunning the starter was particularly amazing. But I also had an amazing blue steak..(which is often hard to get perfect). We had a great seat on the terrace., and the view was stunning, This restaurant is one we had been planning to test for some time. And it was excellent.

Very expensive for what you get but don’t mind when it is a treat but the steaks we ordered well done were burnt, chargrilled and inedible. It’s not hard to cook a steak well done with no blood without burning it. For £45 per steak I have emailed to complain. The rest of the food was nice but the staff were quite slow and for the money it cost I don’t think it was worth it and left disappointed. Flat Iron cook steak better than the chef on this occasion. I’ve visited a few times and never had a problem so not sure what on earth went wrong yeaterday.

We are regular and It was a birthday celebration for my husband. Staff is super friendly. Enjoy the lovely steak and our wine / sparkling. We had a fantastic night with Hawksmoor! Thank you! ☺️

Overall a great evening, food was excellent, and the service in the restaurant was fantastic. Slightly disappointed about the slow service in the cocktail bars before hand, but everything else was great

The welcome was good but it went downhill from there. 2 Steaks ordered medium arrived well done, hard as bricks, dry as sawdust and a uniform grey inside. The server was not at all apologetic and tried to argue that it was just the outer part of the steaks that was overdone and we were made to cut the middle to proof the uniformity of the well-done-ness before they agreed to send it back to the kitchen. Later, when the re-fired steak was brought out, a glass condiment bottle on the platter slid off and smashed to pieces on the floor, splashing ketchup everywhere, including on people's trousers. It was purely an accident, of course, but just added to the less than ideal experience we were already having. Disappointing that a steak restaurant can't tell the difference between well-done and medium but are happy to charge premium prices. Honestly, I don't know why I come here anymore. Each visit seems worse than the last.

Really enjoyed the Hawksmoor Roast. The toffee pudding sundae was outstanding. The service was amazing from the front of house staff to the waiters, it was a pleasure being served by them. Will definitely visit again!

Fantastic service and great food as always. Had my 6 month old son with me and the staff were very accommodating. We will be back for the Sunday roast very soon!
