Hawksmoor Liverpool will be opening on November 24th; in the iconic, Grade II-listed India Buildings, on the corner of Brunswick Street and Fenwick Street.

This summer, we’re offering a main paired with a choice of iconic Hawksmoor salads for just £18.00. Featuring classic Hawksmoor staples, such as 35-day dry aged Rump steak with gentleman’s relish, alongside new dishes like the irresistible charcoal chicken Ana Mari or Chalk stream trout – you can then pick your favourite salad sidekick from a line-up of Hawksmoor Caesar, Heritage tomatoes, English lettuce & herb or Bitter leaf, blue cheese & pecan. Available Monday to Friday for lunch bookings of up to 6 people.

This was our first time to Hawksmoor, and l can honestly say it won’t be our last. From walking through the door the service was great and the staff were very attentive to our needs and very helpful with wine and food choices. Our starters (potted beef and marrowbone on sourdough) were the best we’ve ever had, the gravy was out of this world. But the showpiece of the meal was my partners 900g Porterhouse steak (medium/rare) was by far one of the best steaks we’ve ever had, a truly exceptional meal with great service and atmosphere to match!!

Service was extremely slow - waited for drinks for long time - taking our order too a long time also! Food was good ! At the end of the night we were charged 70 pounds service fee that we didn’t know was a voluntary fee and we gave a 30 pound cash tip as we didn’t realize that we had already tipped. 100 pound tip was far too much

Spectacular food. For a moment I wondered is it worth £38 for a steak. Then I ate it and realised, yes, yes it is. I had to stop talking so I could concentrate on how nice the meat was. Very attentive staff who were all warm and friendly and made an effort to make you feel special. Lovely building and decorated tastefully. Amazing feel to the place. Highly recommend.

Pre booked lunch serving for 2. My friend had seen the promotion all over Facebook for the Ribwich, none in stock was told… We ordered off the lunch “express” menu, although the restaurant was quiet the service took quite a while. Food was average at best, front reception was friendly and probably the best part of the experience. Wouldn’t return, much better places in Liverpool with superior food and service standards. 4/10
