War alles gut. Tolle Ambiente und sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Das Essen war ansprechend, noch mit etwas potential nach oben.

Had difficulty finding the restaurant but once we were there the staff was incredibly gracious and friendly! The food was outstanding as well as the service. They did add a 12.5 % gratuity but was happy to pay for the outstanding service!

We had booked for 6 people for a special Occassion for our son’s graduation from University. Prior to the dinner we asked for the staff to present a gift we supplied along with desert. They went above and beyond and the service was excellent. Everything was done with military profession. The food was fabulous and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately I didn’t order the scallops for starter as my son did and they were to die for. Next time I will definately order them.

Had a fabulous meal and what made it so special was the service and the young girl that served was very knowledgeable about the food and how it was cooked and even about the buildings architecture. First class

Beautiful restaurant in very elegant surroundings. Service was efficient and friendly. Our server recommended an excellent wine when we asked for his advice. Food was tasty, well presented and in enormous portions. Only very minor criticism I have is I would ask the server to introduce themselves to the diners. Being dressed informally makes it difficult to identify them initially.

Was as good as ever. Steak was cooked to perfection and of course the Shakey Pete cocktail is legendary. Service was very prompt and friendly

I went here recently for my graduation dinner. I won’t lie I used to work here, yet despite having tried almost everything on their menu for free, when I had the choice of any restaurant in Edinburgh for my graduation dinner I still wanted to come here. The food is genuinely outstanding. Not only that, the service and atmosphere is something else. Whether it’s your graduation or you’re squeezing a quick course in before a fringe show they make you feel like it’s your birthday. Highly highly recommend.

Service was outstanding with an excellent wine and spirits selection. Steaks were very good with equally good sides. Reminded me of a Morton’s or Ruth Chris if you are from the States.
