Having been to many restaurants in Edinburgh - this is my favourite. Steaks are sublime! Service second to none. Whole heartedly would recommend you visit.

Food was very good. Wine could have been better,but of course this is Scotland. Should have had Scotch.

My second time visiting hawksmoore but our first time in Edinburgh, booked for our anniversary. We waited over an hour for our first course, which was lovely then when we received our main the taste again was great but could have been warmer. The overall service was more than poor, waits for drinks was extremely slow and we had to ask for a fresh glass after ordering a different drink. Its a shame because the poor service overshadowed what should of been a lovely meal.

We came to Hawksmoor for our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our experience. We ordered the chicken piri piri and the sirloin steak, both were excellent. They had a large selection of unique cocktails which were also very good. The beef dripping chips were our favourite. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped with menu recommendations based on our dietary needs. Overall 10/10 and would definitely come back on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Overall a great dining experience on a BYO Monday evening in Edinburgh Steaks were excellent and well cooked to order supplemented with tasty fries and side salad Service was friendly and efficient can’t wait to return

Overall v good, but a couple of minor problems - I had a piece of shell on my crab on toast, the creamed spinach tasted more of. Rosemary than spinach, and the “skirlie” was more caramelised onions and bone marrow than traditional skirlie. Service was very good. Nice atmosphere

Service was great, food was delicious but had to send back main as was not hot, this was quickly dealt with however and staff were very apologetic, this did not spoil our night, these things happen, drinks were great also, would definitely go back
