This summer, we’re offering a main paired with a choice of iconic Hawksmoor salads for just £19.50. Featuring classic Hawksmoor staples, such as 35-day dry aged Rump steak with gentleman’s relish, alongside new dishes like the irresistible charcoal chicken Ana Mari or Chalk stream trout – you can then pick your favourite salad sidekick from a line-up of Hawksmoor Caesar, Heritage tomatoes, English lettuce & herb or Bitter leaf, blue cheese & pecan. Available Monday to Friday for lunch bookings of up to 6 people.

Cocktails were good. Starters (tomato salad and bone marrow dish) were excellent. Red wines have a massive markup (300-400%) but the one we did have was nice (African red - Releaf). The ‘lobster’ was daylight robbery - one mouthful for almost £30! The steak (chateaubriand) was over cooked but still tasty. The sides (chips, mac and cheese, mushrooms, fried eggs and Yorkshire puddings) were all nice enough but nothing spectacular. Sticky toffee pudding was fantastic and when paired with a 15yo Glenfarclas it was even better. The whisky was decently priced. Service was so-so. One server needs to learn how to pour wine better so as to not it have splash all over the table. It also took ages to try and get someone’s attention for assistance. The 12.5% service charge that was automatically added was too high in my opinion but we couldn’t be bothered disputing it as it was late and we wanted to leave. We did however dispute an extra £9 drink that was accidentally added to our bill! Overall, for £300 I was rather disappointed. I’d have been even more annoyed if I was paying for it all but luckily my Amex card covers £150 for me. Would I go back? For a cocktail and started yes, for anything else? Nope.

Food was exquisite, serving was excellent and had an overall great experience! Grant was terrific from his recommendations to the personalized approach! 10/10

We wanted a quiet dinner as a couple. This is not a place for a quiet dinner. Our waiter was very nice, friendly and attentive. However food was medium. Definitely less than what I expected from a well known steakhouse. We will not be coming back. I would imagine the restaurant will work well for a larger group of friends or a night out from work, as it is spacious and can accommodate larger tables easily.

Great service and busy atmosphere, so even although tables close together, no issue with hearing another conversation. Food excellent - it is a very long time since I tased a better steak!

Excellent experience. Went on a Monday byo wine great idea. Express menu food fantastic shout out for potted beef starter amazing value Service brilliant busy great atmosphere.

One of the best meals I’ve had in years. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. Our waiter was helpful and his recommendations showed a great understanding of both the menu and his guests. I look forward to my next visit to what I’m certain will become a new favourite!

The service and cocktails were top class but the food was poor, fish was uncooked and lack of food.provided without sides was poor from a high end returaunt. Examen would be a £40 steak but everything else was extra.... really. Can't fault the guy St the bar for service or the waiter staff but the food was undercooked and average.
