The venue is outstanding. The service was pleasant. Our starters of scallops and especially pork belly were very tasty. My wife’s fillet was very good but the rib-eye I ordered as medium was actually well done.

The food was nice but not a wow factor for the price. I would not go back, I’ve had nicer elsewhere and better value

It was a nice pleasant meal the staff were excellent, and they treated us with dignity, and they deserve a medal for managing a lot of people.

Food amazing Staff friendly and attentive Ensure you get table in the Main Dining room, not the Bar We ate in the Bar, as Main Room was fully booked , It was very cold

We had Sunday lunch with 2 sides the stuffing and the cheesy cauliflower. It was all delicious and the service was excellent .

We were a party of 7 and overall our meal was good but a few things could have been improved! My husband is quite particular on how his steak is cooked. He asked for it rare but for him it was overcooked and having to pay an extra €4 for a pepper sauce on top of a porterhouse steak that cost €126 was maybe a little too much!! There was a good selection of staters and I think everyone was generally happy with what they got The waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. Hawksmoor is a very attractive building with a lovely ambiance and I would recommend a visit.

You can’t beat the food, every dish was outstanding. The scallops and of course the steaks are particularly noteworthy! It was probably our most disjointed service in a Hawksmoor, with a bit of a fuss around table/bar service on entry, a chunky gap between starters and main and errors on the bill. It must have just been an off day, and doesn’t take into account the very friendly staff we interacted with. They do this exceptionally and acknowledged a few issues quickly and professionally.

Amazing food. On booking did not know difference beteeen bar and restaurant. Would book restaurant next time, bar was cold with door opening.
