The rump steak and chips my fiancée and I got during the early bird menu was out of this world. The best we have both ever had. The wait staff were personable and friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was stunning.

The food and service here are excellent, but appreciate that you pay top dollar for everything. Pint of draught beer €8.50, for example. The charge for accompanying sauces was a particular sour note on the night. When you're ordering 2 x Chateaubriands at a cost of €192, you don't expect to be charged an additional €16 for 4 tiny ramekins of peppercorn sauce. The meat comes with absolutely nothing, so it's not unreasonable to expect that the tiny portions of sauce would accompany the meat at no extra charge. Apart from that, we had a good time

The steaks we ordered were way too much salted, we waited a long time to order cocktails,the noise level was too high and we asked for the music to be turned lower, but it was still less than ideal. Your staff were attired poorly and were lacking in enthusiasm . You should try to benchmark against Shanahans and Patrick Guilbauds. Thanks for asking me to comment on the dinner we had for 3. I have visited Hawksmoor Dublin more than half a dozen times for dinners and Sunday roasts, and I think it is hands down the best steakhouse in Dublin, and one of the best I have visited anywhere around the globe.

we made our booking for 8.15pm on a Saturday night and when we got there the host explained that there was a little mix up with the table as another person with a similar booking name to me arrived a minute before and they gave our table to her. they were so apologetic about it so we went to the bar to have a cocktail while we waited for our table. a few minutes later we were brought to our table and the host explained that our cocktails would be on the house because we had to wait. the food was just absolutely devine. We got the chateaubriand and we both got a sauce each. I had asked about the hucklebuck sauce as I didn't know what it was and the waitress explained it was a cheese sauce, I was very tempted to change my sauce choice but I didn't. because of this the waitress gave us a small sample of the hucklebuck sauce to try with our mains and didn't charge us. the service was just outstanding and we will definitely be coming back.

I really liked the place , staff, and food! I had only one problem which was the food presentation and the way it was served. Steak was served in the dish without any kind of garnishing ! and it looked weird. However, the overall experience was good and I will visit the place again. Thanks 👍🏻
