Poor food quality. Rump was poor, paired with about 6 chips. Not enough staff. Not great.

Excellent food in a lovely atmospheric restaurant served by friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Not the cheapest place around but you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. cant wait to go back.

Constantly excellent food and service. Sunday Lunch, always a Beef -tastic banger. Double gravy and the stuffing is non negotiable, sticky toffee anything to finish and you can't go wrong. One word of advice, don't be tempted by swapping the beef for a more expensive supposedly 'better' cut, It doesn't quite work, there is a very good reason they chose the cut of beef they use for the standard roast.

As our favourite Hawksmoor, it did not let us down. Absolutely beautiful smoked salmon to start followed by the best chateaubriand you could imagine - texture, taste, cooking 10/10 perfect in every domaine. Lovely white chateau neuf du pape and then some gorgeous complimentary Somerset cheddar with which to finish our wine. You cannot beat this experience - it is the gold standard of a steak restaurant. Thank you all for such a lovely Sunday lunchtime!

This was our first experience with a traditional Sunday Roast. We were able to be seated a short time ahead of our reservation, which was great. Out waiter was fantastic! We asked for suggestions and he gave us direction to a wonderful experience. The food was mostly amazing. The only disappointment was the potatoes, everything else was fabulous. So glad we were able to experience this.

A wonderful evening that consisted of perfectly balance wine that went incredibly well with the delicately cooked food. We were made to feel so very welcome and the excellent service was faultless. A little birthday dessert was a perfect way to end a perfect experience.
