This summer, we’re offering a main paired with a choice of iconic Hawksmoor salads for just £19.50. Featuring classic Hawksmoor staples, such as 35-day dry aged Rump steak with gentleman’s relish, alongside new dishes like the irresistible charcoal chicken Ana Mari or Chalk stream trout – you can then pick your favourite salad sidekick from a line-up of Hawksmoor Caesar, Heritage tomatoes, English lettuce & herb or Bitter leaf, blue cheese & pecan. Available Monday to Friday for lunch bookings of up to 6 people.

I was a little disappointed with my fillet steak. A little on the tough side and dry. Not as good as previous visits which was a shame.

We were a table of 8 and were therefore unable to order from the a la carte menu due to their rules on sharing menus. We felt this was a real shame and it would stop me coming back as a large group. Lots of sides that you don’t necessarily want and sharing 3 steaks between 8 was just not enough meat to sides ratio. Service during the meal was satisfactory nothing to report home about however the hosts at receptions left a very negative view on the whole experience. As we entered they didn’t so much as look up from their screens to greet us, there was no “hello” or “welcome” the energy was completely flat. Immediately off putting and actually quite rude. Again on our departure no thank you and good bye as we walked past to leave. They were not busy, they were just engrossed in their computer screens and gave the impression that just didn’t care. We’ve dined at Hawksmoor’s a few times and considering the prices you expect a good experience. This was a special occasion and we left pretty disappointed. A real shame.

We had a brilliant evening at Hawksmoor in Borough, I stand by my view that the service is some of the best in London with real personalisation. They were aware it was an important business dinner and did everything to make a great atmosphere adding suggestions and doing special accommodations for us. Piotr our server (Australian guy I think that was his name!) was outstanding and want to thank him for making the meal perfect. As always food was incredible and we left feeling positive. Thanks again!!

I was super late for the table thanks to Great Western Railway. My son was waiting, he wasn't hassled or rushed. The food was absolutely fantastic. The service could not have been better. My husband's booked to go with his son, quite a recommendation as we live in Cardiff!
