Welcome to Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge, where celebrated Chef Brian Malarkey and his brother James bring a slice of their Central Oregon ranching heritage to Bend. Our 'modern cowboy' restaurant & bar with its wood-fired oven, semi-private canvas tent dining, and a vibrant outdoor patio, perfectly embodies Oregon's majestic outdoors.

Our menu, deeply rooted in ranch-to-plate traditions, showcases beef & produce from our nearby Tumalo ranch. With an onsite butcher shop and smoker, we utilize every part of the animal, delivering high-quality steaks and inventive dishes at friendly prices. Favorites include our Happy Hour Smash Burger, Beef Fat Fries, Steelhead Trout, and Beef Tongue Tostadas all to be enjoyed alongside cocktails, mocktails local beers, and PNW wines.

Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge also serves as a dynamic venue for private events, from intimate dinners to grand celebrations. Join us for a dining experience that celebrates the culinary heritage of Central Oregon.

Our Huckleberry Lounge will be transformed into The Pink Pony Club, complete with an acoustic guitarist and fabulous decor. Overall excellent experience, the food and drinks were excellent. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was comfortable and fun. Just an all around awesome night. We will be back, and that does not mean just once. Thank you!

Great dinning experience. The service, the drinks and the food were top notch. The 4 of us would come back again. We ordered a variety of appetizers and main course to share with the table. Everything was great.

We had a party of 10 and it was a great dining experience. From seat to feet the staff was energetic and friendly. Good vibes and the decor was great. The drinks alert fun and delicious. From the shotskis to the barrel racer my favorite. The Food was excellent! Steaks were cooked to perfection. Skirt steak with chimichurri sauce 😎 Look forward to coming back.

One of the best “vibes” (decor, energy) I’ve experienced in Bend, but food was mediocre and priced like a high end restaurant. If you want a great steak for $70+, go elsewhere. If you want a fun environment to host friends from out of town and are fine feeling like you paid 1.5-2x what you should’ve, go here.

Absolutely loved the experience from the doors opening on… the hostess was warm, welcoming and funny, Jude was fantastic, and Cassidy was an absolute delight! She truly is the kind of waitress you hope for ~ knows the menu, confident, fun, attentive, and her smile all but ensures you’ll have the best time! Thank you! The vibe, ambiance, food, and each server we encountered top shelf, excellence.

The main dish was phenomenal, everything before and after did not meet the same expectations. Our server was either overworked or just having a bad day. The order of how our food was brought out and the period of time it took before we all received our main dish was not acceptable for the price charged. When you set price points at that level, there is an expectation to receive the same value in service. There are other restaurants that serve delicious steaks along with quality service from start to finish.

Exceptional service from booking our Company Party and communication, to the decor and service. The coordinator, Alexa, to set up our space was always very prompt with our communication and easy to work with. Our waiter went above and beyond for all the guests and remembered a couple of us that haven’t been in for months.
