Welcome to Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge, where celebrated Chef Brian Malarkey and his brother James bring a slice of their Central Oregon ranching heritage to Bend. Our 'modern cowboy' restaurant & bar with its wood-fired oven, semi-private canvas tent dining, and a vibrant outdoor patio, perfectly embodies Oregon's majestic outdoors.

Our menu, deeply rooted in ranch-to-plate traditions, showcases beef & produce from our nearby Tumalo ranch. With an onsite butcher shop and smoker, we utilize every part of the animal, delivering high-quality steaks and inventive dishes at friendly prices. Favorites include our Happy Hour Texas Toast Smash Burger, Whole Snapper and Beef Tongue Tostadas, all to be enjoyed alongside cocktails, mocktails local beers, and PNW wines.

Everything was excellent!!! Awesome food. The only minor suggestion is this; For the “steak fried steak” and the “hamburger steak”, it would be great to be able to order these “medium rare” or “well done”. We were told they come “as is”. Rather strange. Anyway, everything tasted yummy, portions were more than adequate and we loved everything!!!!!

Hawk and Huck is a great experience! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is festive and fun. It is a bit loud, so you have to be in the mood for that. I’ve had the steak there many times and it is outstanding. There is a private room and three semi private tents where you can have more privacy. I think it’s the best new addition to Bend.

We absolutely love the decor and ambiance! Bend restaurants tend to be a bit boring compared to other cities. This was a welcome change. The food was also fantastic. The service was friendly, but lacking a bit. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and did not feel much acknowledgment of the occasion. Overall, this is probably my new favorite place. We'll be back!

We’ve been a few times and tonight Caleb was our server. He was so helpful with menu suggestions, drink suggestions and all around such a great vibe. We were celebrating my birthday and he went above to be accommodating and also just so fun to be around!!

We had a 5:30 reservation and were seated promptly and waited on quickly by a courteous waiter. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. (It could have been five stars but I'm very picky.) The place was full and the noise level was loud but not uncomfortably so. Music was fun. Overall a very good experience. It was pricy but we expected that ($180+tip for 2, with just two glasses of wine). We will go back but order less food as we couldn't eat it all and came home with leftovers.

I recently dined at Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge for a date night, and it was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a cozy, memorable evening. The decor is such a fun blend of rock 'n' roll and western themes, and I loved the quirky touch of the disco cow's head — it really adds character to the space and made the vibe so unique. The staff was attentive, friendly, and well-versed in the menu, making us feel welcome right away. We ordered a few different dishes, each more delicious than the last! The quality of the ingredients and the creative flavors were truly impressive. We couldn’t help but talk about coming back with a group so we can order the sampler platter and try even more of their incredible meats and unique sides. Overall, Hawkeye's has become one of my top choices for a night out, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a warm, inviting atmosphere!

A very fun and great atmosphere! A Ribeye for $75 is crazy high especially with no side included. The service and the ambiance makes up for high priced meals. I do recommend trying out Hawkeye & Huckleberry!

Ambiance and service were outstanding. Our appetizer and entrees were good but we felt definitely on the expensive side. Restaurant exudes a terrific “vibe” and we’ll definitely return.
