We had a party of six guests celebrating a birthday in the dining room. Their booths were accommodating and comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. Our server, Mia, was pleasant and attentive to our needs throughout our visit. We can’t wait to return to Haven. It’s truly a gem in Hamden!

It’s the nicest place in town and the food and cocktails were good. It’s large and noisy but definitely fun. I would return and that’s high praise from me. Everything was clean and attractive and the staff seemed reasonably well-trained. Everyone was welcoming. This is a step up from the other establishments in the immediate area and it was nice not to have to drive to New Haven just for a decent cocktail. I am only here when I visit my college student. While there are small criticisms I could make the fact remains that this is the best place in town.

Excellent service provided by Erin tonight. She went above & beyond to ask about adjustments to menu items. We have eaten at Haven Beer Co many times and Erin was the best server ever.

Haven Beer Company is a terrific new addition to the Hamden/New Haven dining scene. I've had lunch and dinner: both meals were excellent. Great food, tasty menu range. I'm not a beer drinker and, so, can't vouch for the craft brews. As a wine aficionado, I can say that the list pairs well with any meal you'd order. Speaking of the meals: the portions are generous; it'd be very easy to share plates beyond the "shareable" menu. The service staff is fantastic: attentive, knowledgeable, friendly. The ambiance: great for dates or groups. The outdoor beer garden is quite lovely, even though it's on the corner of Dixwell and Whitney. With ample free parking (accessible from driveways before each main corner), there's nothing to lose by stopping in for a bite and brew!

We have eaten here several times. Always enjoyed our food, until last night. My husband ordered the nachos, which looked yummy. They fell short of good. Not sure what cheese they used, but it was very disappointing. Service was great!
