We were there on a Saturday evening. It was very crowded and quite noisy, between the music and the people. We were there for dinner. I ordered the Asparagus and Pea Risotto. It was delicious but the portion was a little on the smaller side, especially for $24. My companion ordered the chopped salad which looked delicious and the portion was large. She said that it was very good. All in all it was an enjoyable evening.

We enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service and atmosphere were great. Fun place. Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, great food and beer, and fun atmosphere! My group ate here before a show at the Space Ballroom and it was a perfect start to the night. Will definitely be back.

We had a party of six guests celebrating a birthday in the dining room. Their booths were accommodating and comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. Our server, Mia, was pleasant and attentive to our needs throughout our visit. We can’t wait to return to Haven. It’s truly a gem in Hamden!

Need better/ more desert selections & options. Pins colada is excellent. Had nachos, Brussels sprouts, calamari, and salmon. Did not like the Farrow rice, salmon was not seasoned at all and the sauce that it came with was not good. Chocolate mouse pie/ cake was ok. I had their tiramisu in the past and did not like it. Mia, our server was excellent.

Haven offers good food, drink and atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and provide great service.

It’s the nicest place in town and the food and cocktails were good. It’s large and noisy but definitely fun. I would return and that’s high praise from me. Everything was clean and attractive and the staff seemed reasonably well-trained. Everyone was welcoming. This is a step up from the other establishments in the immediate area and it was nice not to have to drive to New Haven just for a decent cocktail. I am only here when I visit my college student. While there are small criticisms I could make the fact remains that this is the best place in town.

Excellent service provided by Erin tonight. She went above & beyond to ask about adjustments to menu items. We have eaten at Haven Beer Co many times and Erin was the best server ever.
