I thought the food was very overpriced for what you got and it was very noisy. I ordered a king prawn cocktail & got a few prawns on a bit lettuce plus rock hard bread. I had to ask for butter. The fish with my main course was lovely, the chips however seemed like the end of a bag of cheap frozen chips. There was loads of black bits, they were starchy and poor generally. I then ordered vanilla cheesecake that was meant to have salted caramel sauce (which it didn't). The cheesecake was stodgy & totally tasteless - it didn't even taste of vanilla. I don't think I'll be hurrying back.

Food was amazing! Our first time here and we were looked after by the lovely Quinn, she is a credit to the company and had our little girl smiling away! We will be back x

On arrival, we were shown to our table, by a very charming young lady, ordering drinks, very swiftly, our meal order was taken, we were then approached by Louise, the manager, she was very pleasant to talk with, who gave us an insight of their plans going forward, which we found very welcoming . with not to long wait, the food was presented, which was very nice, maybe a little pricey, but overall really good. Will definitely visit again.

Portions have halved and the staff are not interested no one clearing tables or asking for drinks and we sat ages for the bill when my husband had to go and find someone to ask . We will not be returning which is a shame as we are a group of friends who often come to the Havlock , we told the staff member that the food was nice but the portions are far to small and she said the brewery decide how much they serve so she couldn’t do anything about it.
