ceviche might be the best I ever had and the cuban sandwich was great. only downside is there was an automatic tip entered the waiter neglected to share with me so he got a double tip. Service was not great, waited for water refill and drink refill on a hot day and waited a long time to get the check. I had to flag down another server. other than the service I would recommend this place again

Highly recommend this place both for the cultural aspect, as well as the food. We truly enjoyed the show on Saturday night at the Ocean drive location in the Breakwater hotel (performed on weekends- La Perla was the name of the group and they are a MUST see for their energy and musicality), the music, the spanish singing/dancing (the singers, the dancers with their outstanding costumes, cabaret style, the female drummer) to both caribbean/spanish music and English popular numbers. Very inclusive place(we are Indian Americans and haven't felt included in some places, hence mention this) and great place to learn some new steps as well! We went there for our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations and truly felt special, as we were given a table directly facing the show. But all seats are well set up. Also want to call out the food, we ordered the salmon and the cod -both of which were delicious and served just in time. The drinks (sangria/mojito) were also nicely done. The service was excellent and there is also a photo service(optional - no compulsion to purchase, but a nice memento of the evening). In short, a lovely way to spend an evening in Ocean Drive, Miami - Cuban cultural fiesta! As native New Yorkers, from Manhattan, we have seen a lot of different types of restaurants- but this place has a special family friendly wholesome fun quality, that is hard to describe. It is a great place to take friends/families of all ages (many multi generational groups), as well as, to have a fun bachelorette party (there was one going on, the day we attended)- both large groups and for just couples too (we ended up joining the others on the dance floor and it was so much fun doing some salsa in a group). Want to mention that there is a flat 20 pct service charge included-but it is mentioned if you reserve on open table. We will definitely recommend this place to friends/family and hope to be back again!

Food was amazing but service was okay server didn’t explain that the mojito pitcher is only good for 4 maybe 5 people so we needed to order two of them instead of 1 the mojito itself was also okay at best it was hard to pour due to the amount of mint and ice in the large mason jar.

The “special” came with poor service and extremely dry chicken. Ignored by our waitress even though there was only 2 other tables sat. Another waitier had to come bring us the check because she had disappeared for a half hour after brining us our boxes. Went from our favorite restaurant in Miami to “just another chain like Applebees”

My wife and I went for the Mother's Day morning brunch and the food was fantastic! Most amazing was the appetizer and dessert buffet. So much food , outstanding quality and presentation. Frankly, we could have just eaten form that but the entree choices were intriguing. The waffles were to die for! Can't wait to go back and experience dinner!
