Great meal and great service! Highly recommend! We loved the bread basket, tuna tartar, and snapper, but all the food was flavorful and delicous.

I expected perfect fish. And I got it. What surprised me was the inventiveness and unique flavors of the sauces -- I would happily have eaten a whole bowlful of the salsa verde that came on the snapper. The combination of nationalities in the food all worked beautifully and seamlessly. Service was excellent, with the server being able to answer any and all questions. The music was even worth listening to -- some Afropop, some soul, some jazz, and all at a level that still allowed for conversation.

An excellent meal and service with exciting flavors. We chose to do the chef’s tasting menu for dinner, and it was fun to be surprised with the dishes that came to the table. A very fun dining experience.

This is really one of the best and most creative restaurants we've been to in Manhattan in the last year. The food has amazing flavor combinations and the staff was very helpful with suggestions. Service is friendly and attentive.

My favorite restaurant in NYC never disappoints. I make intention to stop by and savor in the latest delicious menu addition and sip delicious cocktail while being served by a friendly mostly-BIPOC staff & kitchen.

This was our first visit to Hav & Mar. We were looking forward, but ended up somewhat disappointed. We shared the “Lobster Jubilee”, which our waiter told us would be easily large enough for a table of 4. It was not, and also it was under-flavored and not particularly tasty. The bread sampler was much more interesting, but was $19. The Hav Fries were ok, but again a smaller portion for the price. I suspect we may have ordered poorly - if we return would try the ceviche and the actual fish entrees.
