The menu has a nice variety, the theme is cool. Nothing extra is offered if you book as a birthday celebration.

If you like the Haunted Mansion at Disney, you will really enjoy Haunted Castle's atmosphere/ambiance. They have a very diverse menu (from a meat-eater's perspective), and a full bar. It is themed for Halloween all year long. At lunchtime it wasn't crowded or loud, but I think it would've been much more lively on October 31st! The staff was friendly, offered some tasty drink and dining recommendations, didn't rush us out the door, and was very attentive as far as taking our order, suggesting complementary side dishes, and offering to prepare our to-go boxes were concerned. It was pricey, so it might not be the best place for a large birthday party or anyone on a tight budget (but everyone needs to relax, and this was certainly a place where you could leave your troubles at the door!).

I enjoyed my time at Haunted House Cafe. I made reservations weeks earlier for Halloween for my husband, myself and another couple. After reading mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect but was hoping for the best. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was great. Our food came out very quickly. Like, I was actually surprised because the food came out so fast! We all ordered cheeseburgers of some sort. I had the Haunted House Burger, I believe it was called, with blue cheese. No complaints at all. Burgers and fries cooked well. Tasted great! The one appetizer, I believe it was fried Mac & Cheese or something like that, was not anything special. But I did enjoy my burger very much! I recommend for anyone into Spooky season all year long. I’m going to make reservations again and bring my two kiddos soon!

Absolutely wonderful! We loved everything about it! The food was delicious. The service was great. Thanks Mariah for being so good to us and all of your wonderful recommendations! 10/10 we highly recommend!

This is a cool concept with poor execution. The restaurant is cheaply put together. The wait staff was rude, incompetent and acted as if the customers are burdens. The food was terrible and the server didn’t ask anything when she saw we did not eat and just asked for the check. She should have alerted the manager, but she just ran our card and walked away. When ordering, we asked what came on a burger, she said it was meat, cheese & bun, but it had ketchup, pickles and olives. The burgers were soggy and tasted like they were made in a microwave. Had one of us had an allergy, we would have had a massive issue. Please do not waste your money or time by going to this poorly executed disaster.

Our reservation was for 8 pm on Wednesday. We got there 10 minutes early after driving 1.5 hours just to go to this restaurant. We both went directly to the restroom before we checked in for our reservation. We were seated right away & water was brought to our table. We were told by the waitress she would give us a minute to look over the menu & then she would come take our order. We looked over the menu & then we waited. We saw our waitress come out to help other tables. She even took orders from people who were seated after us. She took photos for a couple at another table when they requested. She brought drinks to other tables. I tried to wave her down, but she just walked right by us. We left at 8:30. We drove down the road to the Blue Goose Cantina. We we're seated & had our drinks, chips & salsa & our orders taken before 8:40. We received excellent service. We ate & left by 9:15. I have been wanting to go to the Haunted Castle Cafe since I heard about it. I read the reviews about the crappy service, but I still just wanted to go. I really wanted to enjoy it. Walking in, it was great. It was really a cool place. The atmosphere was everything I hoped for, but that's where it ended. They could really learn a lot about great service from the Blue Goose Cantina.

Not a very good selection on food... We ordered chicken wings and they were rubbery... Prices are way too high... And I know it's a haunted cafe but it's just basically stuff that glows in the dark. Our server was good.. do not recommend.. And when we made the reservation they ask if there was a special occasion which I did it was our wedding anniversary.... Usually when they ask that on a reservation you get a free dessert or something like that ...we got nothing... So why ask...

We ordered chicken wings and the fig and goat pizza for appetizers. The chicken wings were alright, but the pizza was good. Overall, I thought the food was way overpriced for what you received. The server brought us Mac and cheese bites by accident - not good. My kids both ordered burgers and those were the best things we had. I definitely wasn't impressed by the food as it's just overpriced bar food. Service: Our sever never gave us silverware so I literally had to grab them off another table. She came to check on us once during our dining experience and then disappeared. And, the place was empty. Overall, this is one and done for me. If this place is going to survive, they need much better service and a lower priced menu offering.

Took our 3 grandkids…. They Loved it! Food was just okay…. Our server was awful… brought our dinner before our apps came… was rushing us through even though there were many empty tables. Only one menu for the 5 of us…. Never checked back with us once served…. But then turned on the charm when she brought the check… Beetlejuice at the entrance was awesome! He really engaged with the kids.

My daughter and I were very excited to try this place, as we had passed it in the summer and saw it would be open the next time we were in the area. The exterior and interior are amazing and the ambiance does not disappoint; many people were in costume making it that much better. However, the food was not great (I assume most was from frozen food bought at wholesale). My pasta was so basic. It was basic pasta, ground chuck, and ragu sauce. We had fried mac and cheese balls that looked frozen and a dessert that looked frozen as well. I told my waitress I was not happy with the pasta, it was undercooked and to bring me a basic salad ($12). The total price for all of this was $60 (with the salad removed). The waitress was very nice and apologetic, but ended up only taking my salad off the ticket which I found weird since that was what I ate. The pasta needed to go. My daughter put the rest of the Mac bites in her purse because she did not want to be rude to the nice waitress. The food was disappointing, to say the least. Ultimately, it looked great, but you are paying for the experience, not the food.
