Le Hau Tree Lanai est un joyau de la restauration récompensé par le prix « Top Write In » (choix des consommateurs) d'Hale Aina/Honolulu Magazine du meilleur brunch en 2013, par l'OpenTable Best View (meilleure vue) en 2013, par la médaille d'or Hale Aina du meilleur repas en plein air (Best Outdoor Dining) en 2010 et enfin par la médaille d'argent du Best Restaurant to Take Out (meilleur restaurant où sortir) de Town Guests en 2009. Situé sur le côté paisible de la plage de Waikiki, cet établissement offre des vues imprenables dégagées sur l'océan et sur les couchers de soleil romantiques. Vous apprécierez votre repas dans un cadre idyllique, décontracté et élégant. I have never before experienced an automatic 20% tip for a table of 4. It also took 40 minutes to be seated, 30 minutes to get the first item of a holiday course meal (meaning the food was already set for the day, so there was no real ordering involved) and 4 hours total waiting until getting the dessert. So my babysitter had to wait on us for over 2 hours over the expected time for dinner.

We were seated for almost 3 hours as every course took an extremely long time to come out. They apologized and offered some free drinks but it was still a huge downer. We just sat and sat waiting for things. 45 minutes for bread and oysters. Then another 45 minutes for a salad. Then another 45 minutes for our entree. On Valentine’s Day with a very expensive price tag it was not really acceptable.

Hau Tree’s usually one of my favorite restaurants but Valentine’s Day was definitely not there best showing. For the price paid for the valentines dinner course menu, the service was quite poor. Food took long too come out, at times seems like they forgot to bring the next dish out. Noticed multiple other patrons had to flag their waiter and complain about where their food was. Steak was cold by the time it was brought out. Had nothing but good things to say previously but definitely won’t come on another holiday/special course menu here.

The food was great, the service was fantastic and we enjoyed the view of the ocean. Overall, an amazing place to eat and have a good time.

とても大満足です。店員の方も凄く丁寧で、英語が分からず困っていると分かりやすく説明してくださって安心して食事する事が出来ました。料理もどれもとても美味しくて、素敵な時間を過ごせました。

Went here for my birthday and was pleased to be surprised with a slice of haupia cake at the end. I thought we’d be seated on the sand, but nonetheless, got a great spot on the outdoor patio overlooking the turquoise beach. We ordered the TY T.K caviar, hau tree eggs Benedict, and lemon ricotta pancake. The food was appealing and tasty, but not memorable. I wish the caviar came with 1 more piece. The restaurant was busy, but I didn’t feel like I had to talk overly loud or lean in to hear my husband. Highly recommend reservations.

The food and service were excellent. I had the best morning enjoying it right in front of the sea.

Food was good. Some of our favorite items from the past menu are gone, including macadamia French toast. Parking used to be no charge. Now it is $10 plus tip. With increased prices on the menu, seems that parking should not be $10. Staff were generally friendly. Coffee was not hot initially but was readily replaced with a cup of hot coffee. Hard to beat the location right next to the ocean.
