The vibe and food are good. But they seem to rush you out. Your meal arrives the minute you finish your appetizer and you don’t get to relax in between courses.

My family has been going to Hattie's since the 1970's and we have enjoyed the various iterations of the place and of the menu. Some of us in our party last night very much enjoyed the battered and fried cat fish while others remembered the original cajun cat fish recipe and longed for its spicy batterless, pan seared loveliness. Still it was all good.At 7 it wad packed, but by 8:30 practically empty--nice and quiet but strange!

I first saw/heard about Hattie's on Foos Network channel Beat Bobby Flay years ago and ever since it has been our favorite fried chicken spot. Great food, awesome prices and funny and courteous servers. we always have a great dining experience everytime we go to Hattie's. last time we went we were the only people in the restaurant for about 20 to 45 mins. Made even more special and our waiter was so funny :)

Always a great experience! The food was amazing, especially the chicken, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend eating at Hattie’s!

It was very good southern cooking. I generally don't eat a lot of fried foods but once in a while it's a treat and this was worth it it was soft shell crabs and fried chicken the green beans and collard greens were amazing. There was a little of food biscuit and corn bread to die for.
