Harvest Wine Bar is the fourth restaurant endeavor for siblings Kleber, Nube, and Vicente Siguenza. Over the past ten years, their passion for food and wine combined with an abiding dedication for excellent customer service has become their recipe for success.

Harvest offers modern American custom cuisine with Asian, Latin, and Mediterranean influence as well as an extensive wine list from the United States and around the world. Not so wonderful. Artichoke app was greasy and in a cream type sauce. Service slow and place much too loud.

The food was terrific: salads, pasta, fish, dessert. All made with care and great flavors. Prices were moderate—equivalent to other similar restaurants. Service was attentive and we did not feel rushed.

I did NOT done at Harvest Wine Bar last Friday 11/1, as the restaurant was closed when I arrived!! I received no notice—either from the restaurant itself, or OpenTable—that it would be closed. Very disappointing!

The menu is long and it's hard to decide what to order. As it happened, the 3 women ordered the same thing: branzino with pureed parsnips and spinach. It was deeelicious. We all loved it. The 3 tastes together were fabulous. What wasn't fabulous was the salad which I split with my husband -- apple, cranberry, etc. Way overdressed. Next time order dressing on the side.....

I went with two friends from school. One from CA and one from MA. Chicken Picatta, halibut, gnocci were our orders. We split them family style. Our waiters name was Dunbar. The service was slow at times but in sum was very good. One of my favorite resturaunts on the Ave, I wait in earnest for my next excuse to return.

We keep trying to love this restaurant but it is extremely noisy if you sit inside. It seems they never attempted to do any sort of sound proofing to help mitigate this. We were lucky to get a table outside where it is quieter. The addition of the bar next store just adds to the noise. It was very crowded and it seemed the staff were a bit out of their element because of this. Our meal was fair: my husbands steak was not cooked to order at all and we decided not to send it back after seeing the same thing happen to the people at the next table. I think theirs never returned until one of them was finished! We took it home, will cook it further and make steak sandwiches. Our waiter was nice enough but could have been more attentive though with the crowds he was managing we aren't sure it was even possible. The prices are on the high side and we know this is a Greenwich staple but I don't think we will return.
