Delight in the taste of customary American cuisine with a twist at Harvest Wine Bar. Harvest's menu features dishes, such as grilled calamari and lobster macaroni and cheese. Some of its main entrées range between seared sea scallops, as well as filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts with red wine demi-glace. At Harvest, guests can also enjoy different drinks for every course of the meal. It is also a great place for date night.

Arguably the best outdoor dining spot in New Haven, off of and below the street below so no traffic noise, soot and smells. Their menu is expansive, but the food quality was mixed, good, not great. The bun on my Harvest burger dissolved barely halfway through my eating it. On the flip side, the French fries were excellent, perfectly cooked and salted, and the cocktail, the Harvest Mule, was also excellent. My partner's meal, the field greens salad was only so-so, actually rather small for the price. My bias is they probably have too many items on the menu to be great at all of them, but I'm guessing if you can find good ones you like, you'll love them paired with the ambiance and the beverages.

Consistently good dining experience @Harvest. The food is always delicious and well prepared and the service is always courteous and attentive and last night was no different. My husband enjoyed the surf and turf special and I enjoyed the snapper at the recommendation of our waitress when I was deciding btw a couple of seafood entrees. Always start with the Brussel sprout salad- it’s amazing. Our cocktails were well-made too. I often say I want to try something else in New Haven, but then end up defaulting to what I know is going to be a great meal.

Great space and the menu looks good, but service was non-existent. There were about 4-5 seated tables in total (some indoor and some out), and at least 6-7 front of house staff including host and servers, yet to order a drink took almost 10 minutes- with me ping ponging my head back and forth looking for someone to notice and approach. Based on service alone, we decided to stop at drinks and an appetizer in order to close out and go elsewhere. The salad was good and we had wine- no complaints there. They just really need to get stronger staff or invest in re-training.

From the food to the noise level, this was a tough dinner to sit through. We arrived early and the restaurant was pretty much empty. Yet, the music was blaring - I could barely hear the person across the table. The Food - UGH. Everything sounded great, sadly, upon arrival the food looked not appetizing nor did it taste good. The fig stuffed with Gorgonzola wrapped in prosciutto…they looked like snails. The prosciutto was brown. The gnocchi bolognese lacked taste. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things. Maybe it was a bad night in the kitchen. Who knows. Check them out and find out.

Good food and ambiance but absolutely missed the mark on service. We arrived just before the restaurant opened and were the 2nd table to order. Our waitress then disappeared for the rest of the meal. Drinks took 20 min, and only came after we gave two reminders. Food took 45 minutes, again after two reminders. And our graduating student had to leave without eating because of delay. No apologies from the staff until the end. Was an infuriating experience. Huge training opportunity for the staff and management.

The atmosphere was pleasant. 3 of us ordered trout and we all thought it was bland. The fish and the couscous were missing flavor.
