   There was a worm in my side salad at breakfast and they did not even seem horrified by it, which is in itself horrifying. I’m glad they are getting organic vegetables, but they are clearly not washing them properly which makes me question the cleanliness of overall kitchen operations. Would not recommend dining here. The restaurant has been on the decline for many years.

   Appetizers were good Service lacked my wife’s plate was bland My food was really salty.

   Great food and great service, quiet outdoor seating popped over from the east bay and had a lovely late family brunch on a Sunday. Dog friendly for my dad’s (real not fake) service dog sitting outside.

   Sunday at 12:30 should be brunch or lunch. This was breakfast with one cheeseburger and the balance breakfast items. There was only one hamburger left so I reluctantly had shashuka. Both were overcooked although nobody asked how our food was. Total waste

   First time at this wonderful restaurant. I loved everything about it. Service, food, ambience, redwood trees and killer coffee. Highly recommend

   Wonderful indoor eating experience. Onion soup was a little lukewarm. Hamachi crudo was excellent. Staff was very attentive. Baked Alaska took a little time to set up, but was otherwise quite satisfying. We were next to the giant fireplace and it created a most romantic ambience.

   I’ve always wanted to dine here, however it was underwhelming. We were celebrating my mom’s 75th birthday, and the host/maitre’d offered complimentary champagne, and then charged us for it! So tacky! We wanted to try the HT burger…and at 530pm were told they didn’t have enough burgers…??! So they suggested one of us have fried chicken instead, and then still charged for the burger. Very disappointing experience overall.

   My Fiancee and I enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing very romantic warming ambiance that set the mood of our date night. The hostess and servers were amazing ensuring everything was perfect for us. Our food was amazing. We had pomme frites, fillet angus steak and the California sea bass, along with the Brussels Chives which was delicious and the broccolini was a great addition to the meal. We had the Hummingbird cake with sorbet pineapple which tasted really sweet, but it all worked well together. Thank you for allowing us to share in the experience of dining in your restaurant. We will be sure to come again on an another special occasion.

    Fabulous dinner and service was the best. Marchin the GM was so nice and professional. Great wine list and very reasonable pricing. Sat next to gigantic fireplace, highly recommend.
