Hartley Kitchen & Cocktails is an American restaurant and gathering place with a warm spirit and deep-rooted soul. Here, simplicity meets handsome design, thoughtful service, and great taste. With an open floor plan between the bar, lounge, and dining room, the restaurant is buzzing and bustling with energy from morning coffee to the final nightcap. Our menu from Chef Mark Alba celebrates our heritage, combining American cooking with a touch of regional southern influence. I went for the Valentine’s Day Special. The ambiance was lovely, the servers were great, the manager was very helpful, and I loved the flowers cart we made our own bouquet for free. However the food could of been better, not much of taste or seasoning it seemed like for the strip steak or the chicken. Not to mention they was out of the lamb although I kept seeing tables being served with it. Apart from that I enjoyed the time and the drink was worth the pay, would I do it again? Probably not

This place has really good reviews but there's a serious problem with the service. We showed up on time with our reservation. Waited to get seated. Waited to hear from waiter. Waited to get drinks ordered, waited for drinks so long that the food started showing up before the drinks even got there. I don't blame the waitress, she was obviously overworked but it shouldn't take TWO HOURS for two people to get a simple dinner order and drinks. Literally the only thing that they did fast was run my credit card. It took ten minutes just to get the check. We were there so long that we wound up missing the engagement we had afterward. It really seems like the staff there are are indifferent towards people there. I had to flag down the host to get our check. Not the waitress, not the server, not the guy bringing drinks. The host. Also, using the excuse "the bar is backed up" in a place this size is just ridiculous. There just aren't that many tables, and we didn't even order anything complex. No mixers or anything like that. Food is ok, but the ambience with the wait really killed it for us. They had a live guitarist there that was so loud that people were practically shouting to hear each other. The waitress had to even raise her voice so we could hear her.

The food was very good. They had an outstanding Valentines Day dinner experience. It was very busy so some drink follow up was slow.

If you are expecting a fine dining experience, this is NOT the place to go! The whole experience was a sh*t show! They rushed us through their pre fix dinner . The server was inattentive. The 3rd course came before the second course (this was after we had only been there 40 minutes). I had to ask for my cocktail more than once. The manager showed up apologetic in his wrinkled shirt and kakis… there were servers running all over the place and nothing seemed to be getting done. The noise level was so bad that it was impossible to hold conversation. The pre fix dinner including tip, tax, and 2 drinks was $240 plus $20 for parking! We could have had a MUCH better meal at a steakhouse. I will never go back and anyone that says the Valentine’s Dinner was good has no palate!

My friends and I decided to enjoy the steak and wine dinner for Galentine’s day. The server was very attentive. The cocktails were delicious and the food was good. We will return next month for Bubbles and Birdie.

Super friendly staff The strawberry French bread was spectacular but needs to be shared by more than 2 people as an breakfast appetizer The frittatas were huge and delicious

Our server had amazing customer service. She made perfect recommendations and answered all of our questions regarding menu items. And the food and drinks were amazing!

We had a reservation but apparently they were overbooked. We were seated in a back area by ourselves not usually used. It took 20 minutes to take our order, 1 hour to get our food. 1/2 my food was cold, my friend's dish did not include what was described on the menu. The manager comped our whole meal because within 30 minutes, there weren't many people left in the restaurant so the kitchen shouldn't have been slow. While the waitstaff is nice and professional, they kept disappearing and a new waitperson would eventually show up. Our lunch there was much better, salads were good and arrived promptly, but we were the only ones in there at the time.

Delicious and unusual chef prepared meal. Top drawer cooking. Outstanding breakfast also.
