Welcome to Harry's!

Named for Harry C. Groome, the original owner of Airlie House, this signature smart casual Warrenton restaurant honors our agricultural heritage with true pasture-to-plate cuisine. Most ingredients travel just 400 yards from our production farm to our kitchen. And you get to savor these hyperlocal flavors in our cozy, winery-inspired dining room or al-fresco on our inviting lakeside patio.

House specialties include Harry’s Burger (made with our angus beef), smoke spiced wings, Airlie garden salad, and seasonal Flat Breads. Pair your favorite meal with a vast selection of mircobrews, Virginia wines or farm-to-table cocktails.

Please note, we do not accept reservations for our outdoor Patio. This is always on a first come first serve basis.

Out server was kind and helpful. It is a limited menu which is fine bc that typically means that the meals are regularly prepared and done quite well. My dinner was pretty good, I had the hanger steak which was nicely marinated over asparagus which was not good. The macaroni and cheese is very good if you like ghouda. My friend had the fish which was ridiculously dry. It was over Risotto which was just okay. She took one bite and wanted no more. The server saw this and immediately offered to cook another or offer a different dish. The wine choices were great and we tried a few before deciding. For dessert we had a brownie with caramel ice cream. It was okay. The brownie was very light which is fine but with ice cream, I prefer a heartier brownie. It kindof crumbled. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. The area is very pretty. Parking is not at all convenient unless you get one of the 5 spaces next to the building. Otherwise you have to park up the hill and people drive very fast through the tiny streets

The chicken sandwich was delicious. The skirt steak sandwich was good but the meat was a bit tough. The Cauliflower appetizer was delicious, too.

The food was luke warm including the coffee. Cold drinks much better. The outdoor seating is very nice, right on the water. The grounds are beautiful.

This was our second time visiting Harry's on a Sunday morning. A brunch is too much food for us, so we enjoyed that they had several delicious shareable options. They have several delicious cocktail options (the Kentucky mule was delicious and refreshing), and a table overlooking the pond was perfect. Our server was very pleasant and just attentive enough. We'll be back!

Repeat Harry’s customer. Used Open Table app this time to reserve table. Only slot on Open Table was at 4:30. Harry’s closes at 5 on Sunday. Harry’s employee called to see if we wanted to come earlier; and we did. Upon arrival there was hardly anyone there. We were seated right away. With regards to Open Table app. It was very easy to use.

Harry’s is in a lovely location. They used to emphasize that their food was made using vegetables they grew and beef they raised. That’s no longer the case. The food is not fresh and doesn’t match the description on the menu. No fresh leafy greens or great hamburgers. Service has always been only fair.

We had a reservation; we were seated on the patio per our request. It was at a couch, fire pit area. After 20 minutes we had to ask someone to come over and take our order. No one would make eye contact. I hate to be like that but it’s 6:30pm and I need a glass of wine. Once we got a server, it was great!!

Absolutely beautiful scenic location! Lunch reservation and first time dining at Harry’s. When we arrived only a few tables inside and one or two outside. Requested seating accommodation was honored. The meal was a little disappointing, not what I had hoped. Server was polite and friendly. We will definitely try again this summer.
