Located on-site at the Montreal Beach Resort, Harry's Ocean Bar & Grill is Cape May’s only oceanfront rooftop bar serving refreshing cocktails and delicious coastal cuisine from February thru December!

During the warmer months, come enjoy live music from local artists and feel the ocean breeze atop our rooftop or open-air dining room. In addition to a full menu, Harry's has a bar that is fully stocked with craft spirits, wine and locally brewed beer.

We look forward to welcoming you and your guests at Harry’s!

*Please note that our dining reservations for table service are for indoor dining and the patio. The Rooftop Bar and Seating area is a first come first serve space.

We had a last-minute reservation, arrived early and they seated us immediately. Excellent service and staff! Chicken sandwich was great, crab cake sandwich was pretty good — wasn’t lump crabmeat; fish and chips - fish was flavorless, thin, and “fishy”. Chicken fingers were great. It seemed pricey but I forgot our kids got Virgin Strawberry Daiquiris, which they loved. Will come back again.

The food was very bland and lacked flavor. Their famous orange crush drink was horrible. Seems like a good atmosphere if you are going for drinks but would not recommend for dinner.

It’s a fun location downtown. We had reservations but it turned out it was only for the downstairs, not deck. Had good parking next to restaurant, staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was OK, nothing special. Best thing we ordered was calamari appetizer. Fish tacos, clams and linguine and shrimp poor boy was OK. T

Harry’s was not what I was expecting it to be. I thought it was more fine dining but it wasn’t it was very casual and some what noisy atmosphere. Okay food nothing to write home about so to speak.Although my husband really enjoyed his captain’s stew. Service was good. Would recommend for casual dining.

Waitress took awhile to greet us. The crab dip had zero crab flavor. We were charged for virgin daiquiri as if it contained alcohol. The strawberry arugula salad was 99% only arugula. It was expensive which if the service and food was good then I would have not minded. Do not recommend.

We came on live country music night. They seated us right by the music. Although the music was good it was way too loud. They have a big problem with overhead flying seagulls. We couldn’t enjoy our meal because we were worrying about them swooping down to get our food

Server was very accommodating (not making us feel bad when changing order for our large party halfway thru ordering… and also, after asking for kids crayons/menus to color on — which they don’t offer, in spite of having a “kid menu”— he brought us a set of expo markers that they probably reserve for business use. It made our kids’ day. Burgers were overcooked (it happens)… but my son who gets a salad in place of his fries doesn’t like the “fancy” lettuce mix. Also, prices were a bit higher than what you’d expect for this quality of food, even for beachfront location. For example an “add on” of steak was $15, which was a very petite portion. Portions of everything else seemed appropriate. We don’t recommend the crab dip—zero identifiable pieces of crab were found. It was fine as a dip, but shouldn’t be called crab dip.

I picked this place out of reviews and pretty disappointed! Was here with family! After a long day at the beach we just wanted to have some lunch! We went up in the roof! The set up was pretty nice! The server was nice and polite! Our food came out pretty quick but suprisely cold! I don’t know if they just keep plated food ready but I was pretty disappointed for a Jersey shore restaurant to have cold food! We didn’t complain because we were all hungry and just wanted to get up and leave! I’m assuming they are part of the hotel and usually hotel food it’s a hit or miss! Anyways thank you for having us! ED
