Located on-site at the Montreal Beach Resort, Harry's Ocean Bar & Grill is Cape May’s only oceanfront rooftop bar serving refreshing cocktails and delicious coastal cuisine from February thru December!

During the warmer months, come enjoy live music from local artists and feel the ocean breeze atop our rooftop or open-air dining room. In addition to a full menu, Harry's has a bar that is fully stocked with craft spirits, wine and locally brewed beer.

We look forward to welcoming you and your guests at Harry’s!

*Please note that our dining reservations for table service are for indoor dining and the patio. The Rooftop Bar and Seating area is a first come first serve space.

                                                                              The view would’ve been nice, but it was foggy. Nobody’s fault. Our waiter Chris was great. But the food was really really bad. The pizza and the flatbread was disgusting. Clam chowder was so salty was barely edible. Probably won’t be back.

                                                                              This was our first time visiting Harry’s, and it will probably be our last. My husband ordered a scallops dish, and he was disappointed that only four scallops were included in his meal. For $48, there should have been at least six included. I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon, and there was NO PARMESAN on the salad!! That’s the best part of the salad, in my opinion, but I had to ask for it to be brought to our table. The restaurant was slammed, but our server was not very attentive.

                                                                              A bird pooped on my back. Had to run from the table and really got no assistance from staff. They didn’t even wipe off the chair for me and the rest of the party had to look at it.

                                                                              It was extremely windy and chilly. Would have been nice to close the indoor outdoor room. Just made the dining experience uncomfortable.

                                                                              I wish I could give this place zero stars. My boyfriend and I drove up for the 4th of July and my birthday. I made a reservation for a table for dinner 3 months in advance. I specifically stated in the reservation that we wanted a table with a view of the fireworks ( ie. Not inside) I confirmed this reservation 3 times. I spoke to the hostess desk and confirmed we would have a table. When we arrived at our reservation time the hostess did not have a table for us available, She had no idea what to do. We spoke to a manager and instead of helping us he said “ well it’s a holiday weekend and mam you’re yelling at me” so basically I was being blamed for their incompetence and rudeness. It was extremely mysoginist. Everyone had to yell because the music was so loud. He then decided he would get the gm. He continued to blame me and told me I hadn’t confirmed my reservation- which I had multiple times- and said to me “it’s a holiday weeKend what do you want me to do?” Wow thanks bro. I’ve had my birthday on a holiday weekend my whole life- thanks for mansplaining that to me. I’m absolutely appalled by what this “restaurant “ considers guests services. Please be forewarned- they do not state that their upstairs patio does not honor reservations. Also he told me because I booked on OpenTable it was not a “real reservation”….. WHAT? Does OpenTable know this. Again, he said I should have confirmed and at that point we just decided to leave and go next door to the salt lick which was a much more pleasant experience. We left our crushes at the bar because basically they were orange juice and sprite. We drove 5 hours from Reston VA to be treated like idiots, thank you. Avoid this place at all costs. They only catered to locals who I was told “ got there first” so making a reservation 3 months in advance means nothing to them. All it said on their website was that they ask people to get up o when they are done so that they can honor their reservations - what a joke. Avoid.

We apologize for the mis- interpretation of our reservation system, and that you felt that our team did not meet your expectations. Our Open table reservation clearly state that our reservations are only for Harry's Patio and inside dining. Our roof top has one of the best views in Cape May and has many guests visiting us, therefore we do not take reservations for tables. We encourage our guests to grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the view while a table becomes available. We hope you give us another chance. Aspasia Bournousouzis Food and Beverage Director

                                                                              Not as good as in previous years. Some real dis’s appointments: Shrimp Poboy, Fish and Chips- one piece of fish. The thin chicken wrap was practically tasteless.

                                                                              Harry’s never disappoints. Servers are always so courteous and accommodating. Music was great. Just watch out for the seagulls if dining upstairs!
