I’ve eaten at multiple Cipriani restaurants in ZnY,Miami, and at Harry’s Bar thru the years. Unfortunately Dolci does not live up to the reputation. Service was average at best throughout the meal but at desertion became arrogant. Our granddaughter ordered chocolate gelato and they brought out a chocolate mousse. We spoke to server who in essence told us we were given gelato, even though it was not cold. When you add the 200 euros for a water taxi to the 509 euros for the meal- it is not worth the ride!

LOVED the pasta e fagioli, the tuna tartare and the divine lemon meringue tart. The view was breathtaking and the service impeccable. 10/10

Great location. Away from the tourist area. All the ingredients to be great. Maitre D’ brilliant and accommodated our change in no. of guests. Food mediocre. Service not Cipriani standard - got food order and cocktail order wrong. Had to pour out own water and wine. Need to wave down waiting staff to order extra cocktail and dessert. Billed modified after highlighting the issues.

We were a table of 5 - had an excellent meal and enjoyed the energy in the restaurant. We even went back a second time for after dinner drinks and dessert.

I heard about the restaurant on This morning with Phil vickery and Ben shepherd raving about it. I booked it as a special night whilst in Venice on a special trip with my Mother. On arrival two people had to check our reservation. The welcome was not warm. We were seated and the location and settings was absolutely beautiful. We were given the menus and shortly after our order was taken. We had to ask 10 minutes later for our drinks again for which we waited another 5 minutes for. Other people arrived who were obviously regulars or who exuded wealth and were treated and served differently. When our order arrived my risotto was delicious, my mother’s ravioli looked as though it had been thrown on a plate with barely any filling. For the price this was disgusting. Not once were the waiters attentive and we left after this without dessert or coffee. We headed back to Venice main for this. We were in Venice for three nights and have had other wonderful meals for a quarter of the price and with great service. The moan is not about the price, we knew the prices and have eaten in many top end restaurants, it’s about how we were treated. So disappointing.
