Tucked away in an old cobbled yard between Cannon Street and Bank stations, Harry's Bar & Dining Room has a great atmosphere and prides itself on the quality of its food, wine and service, being professional yet friendly. Offering a fine British/Modern European cuisine the menu includes dishes such as new season Smoked Salmon Gravlax, or Seared Venison Loin Harry's Bar is renowned for the quality and freshness of the ingredients and, in particular, the char-grilled Scottish fillet steaks which are always a winner! A little gem in the City, smart yet homely surroundings and faultless service, and a very easy place to feel comfortable in.

The Braised Ox Cheek Bourguignon new on the Autumn menu is a winner, and the Manhattans are as good as ever - particularly needed after a journey into town during which the Tube network threw what seemed like every possible obstacle in my path! Thanks to Chloe and team for a thoroughly enjoyable meal as always.

Always a great experience, food is superb, staff are friendly and professional. Great vibe for a Friday lunch.

Lovely as always, service was great, food was lovely. Nice place to eat where you can talk to your guest without needing to shout.

Another great lunch at Harry's - service was relaxed, unobtrusive and efficient. At no time were we hurried and the conversation flowed around the Mediterranean fish stew and the excellent savoury tart. A couple of glasses of Picpoul and 90 minutes later we were off back to business. Quick or slow. Harry's manages to adapt to its diners very well

I met up with an ex-colleague and had a lovely lunch outside in the sunshine. Our meals were beautifully presented and delicious. Many thanks to the serving team for making us feel so welcome.

We dined on a wet Friday evening and other than a couple of people having a drink the place was empty which was a shame. In retrospect though, we were in "The City" where it is much busier in the day and the weather meant everywhere was quiet. Other than this we were treated very well by the staff who were attentive and friendly. The menu is well balanced and not too big or small. Food was very good and in a decent portion. I had a steak which was not very adventurous but was one of the best I had ever had. Overall I would recommend Harry's.
