I am writing this in a bit of a food coma because the portions are so large and wonderful. It was a truly memorable evening with tremendously professional service and delicious, abundant food.

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Amazing steak, great sides and impeccable service!! All in an old San Francisco atmosphere.

Everythong about the experience was superb. From entry to exit, all was as expected from this long standing icon of SF. Adam along with the seating staff, well, there is nothing else to say, true professionals.

The food and service were outstanding!! I am a fan of HOPR, but it was so nice to be able to have a nice conversation with someone and not have to restrain to hear them over the next table (as it can be very noisy there). The food was SO good - best steak that I can remember ever having. Service was impeccable!! Will definitely be back!

Harris steakhouse has been my favorite restaurant for many years. However our most recent experience was a bit disappointing. There were 6 of us and three ordered the petite filet. 2 of them were just fine. The third was far too rare. And prices have soared. $15 for a small portion of creamed spinach is an example. And wines- hard to find any under $100. For sure you feature some excellent wines, but there are some very good wines that can be sold for under $60.
