    It’s difficult to comprehend that a restaurant like this doesn’t know how to cook a steak medium rare, the steak was well done and hard to chew. Therefore too expensive for the quality they serve, while the atmosphere breathes things of the past, the service and quality fell behind

    The visit was stellar. Old San Francisco at its best. If you want steak? This is the place to go. If you want veal sweetbreads? This is the place to go. Eating in the bar is lively. It has a few romantic nooks . The dining room is quieter. You can choose.

    We had a great time at Harris. Our server was really nice and the food was amazing. The Ambiance was lively and they had live music.

    I am a long-time customer at Harris. It is far better than the well touted House of Prime Rib.

    We have a wonderful experience at Harris'. Seeing the meat proudly displayed, we knew we were in for a great meal. We loved the nice little that elevated the experience. My boyfriend ordered a cocktail and it was poured table side and he was given a tiny bucket of ice for the rest. Bread is served warm.Butter is room temperature for better spreadability. The main event, the meat did not disappoint. It was perfectly seasoned and tender. I wouldn't recommend any of the sauces. The au jus was best at of all of choices. Since it was boyfriend's birthday, they brought out sorbet with a candle. Our server Adam was great! Highly recommend.

    We loved every minute of our dinner. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. Thank you for making my husband‘s birthday. Very meaningful one. It’s nice to have such ambience.

    We had tomato bisque and steak tartare appetizers. Caesar salads wonderful as usual. Petite filets and New York strip steaks cooked to perfection. Love the madeira sauce. Sides of mashed and baked potatoes were a nice accompaniment. Baked Alaska topped off the evening. Lovely service throughout the meal. One of our favorite spots for special occasions! Can't wait to go back.
