We were sat upstairs in the entry hallway, so everyone walked past. It was uncomfortably hot with barely any air conditioning. It is hard to eat when you are sweating from the heat. We could only get glasses of water with no ice. The WiFi did not work. It was difficult to get service. The food was average. Our server was nice, but she was very busy.

Hard Rock Cafe is our favourite place to eat and we have visited a Hard Rock Cafe as a priority in every city we visit ( at least 8 so far) Unfortunately , Hard rock Milan fell short of our expectations and let down the high expectations and standards of Hard rock. The ambience was poor with only one screen quietly playing. The staff were lethargic at best and served our meal without cutlery. When we asked for some , they took so long to bring it our meals were going cold. They then only brought enough for 3 of us leaving one person without. We had to help ourselves from the table next to us. We asked for a medium burger which was only rare and blood was dripping onto the chips. The drinks order didn’t come and so we had to go the bar to remind the staff. No one checked if we were happy with our meal or offerrrd us sauces. No one came to ask for a desert order so we didn’t have one. When we asked for the bill it took ages to come. We had 3 different servers none of which looked like they could be bothered to serve us. The level of customer care and enthusiasm of staff we live about Hard rock just wasn’t there. We left very disappointed. Our meal was over £200 and felt like a mediocre visit to a cafe and not the special occasion we were hoping for or used to when we have visited Hard rock cafes in the past.

Service was not good, very slow to take drink and food order, bringing drinks and food dishes over one at a time. Staff didn’t really seem to know what was going on and who was doing what. Unfortunately this was the worst experience I have had at a Hard Rock Cafe. Will NOT be returning there I’m afraid.

Having visited many Hard Rocks around the world, the one in Milan can only be described as the worst experience we had at a Cafe. We had made a reservation but arrived early. We were accommodated but later received an email from One Table to say that we had not showed for our reservation. We were just pointed to a table and were then just given menus with no explanation of any specials etc. We requested details for dairy free options on the shakes but no one came back to us. We did not have a dedicated server as each server was just wandering around the aimlessly. The quality of the food did not hit the consistent high standards expected. We ordered a plate of nachos to share that tasted stale and the Twisted Mac n Chicken, I literally had to slice the mac as it was so dry with cold chicken that had an unusual jelly like texture. I fully understand that keeping the restaurant clean and tidy is very important, however, to have a clewner constantly wandering around with a brush as pan and sweeping around our feet while eating was beyond belief. There was little atmosphere with music volume very low and screens showing the Olympics. I did raise the issue with the quality of the food and this was taken care of. We have moved on to Florence and have experienced a superb evening at The Cafe there and learnt that Milan is a franchise that apparently don't follow the same standards as the non franchised restaurants.
