We booked a table pre Halifax Thunderbirds game. 5:30. Game was at 7. We had to ask for drinks at 6:45 still no sign of food. We asked with no answer. So we left. $90 drink bill with no manger and no apology. Do not go here

Booked a table to have dinner here prior to the Home for the Holidays event. Reservation was for 5:30. Got in and ordered a drink and some food right away. Which was a good call. The restaurant was not especially busy but busy enough to have more than 2 servers. We ran into the same issue last year, very slow service as they only staffed so few servers. We all had reservations so they knew exactly how busy they were going to be. Once the food has been ordered. It took 1.5 hours to arrive. It wasn’t complicated food, it was the soup of the day. The table beside us ordered burgers, and my friend ordered a salad. When asked about the wait for the food, the bartender just said it’s going to take an hour at least. No reason why, the restaurant was not that busy and there were at least 2 people cooking in the kitchen. The hotel that night was also hosting a dinner theatre. My recommendation is you are hosting an event, get event staff. Don’t just have the cooks do both the dinner rush and the dinner theatre event. Or… be honest with the people who took time to book reservations. Hey we are doing a dinner theatre too so the food will be slow…. That way it gives the people dinning a chance to decide if they want to go somewhere else to get food. The slow food was a huge problem. The food was cold when it go to us, the soup practically not edible. The service was lack lustre at best. And the bill was way too high for the food that we did get served. The bill was also not accurate and it took another 5 minutes to fix it. 2 drinks, a soup and a salad - 2 hrs +

Extremely friendly staff and a wonderful welcoming greeting from Emily. ( student taking library science) Just a friendly atmosphere and for Dec 25 to have the ability to hade staff looking after us was outstanding . Kate said she would likely do it next year .

Top notch!! Highly recommend!! Yummy cocktails. Our bartender (Frank if I recall) was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable!!

The server was wonderful! Food was delicious as well as drinks, and price point considering all that we ordered was surprisingly fair. We will be back!

We had a Great meal with excellent Service… The Seafood Chowder is fabulous! Lots of large pieces of lobster, scallops and salmon, etc. Highly recommended!

Ingrid is the best server I have ever had always a pleasure to get service from her she is so energetic and keeps you thinking with jokes and riddles such a fun night all because of Ingrid.

We dined there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our server was so very kind, attentive and friendly. We both ordered the PEI steak, both were cooked to perfection. The grilled veggies we delicious. We We surprised at the end of our meal with a complimentary dessert and a Happy Anniversary chocolate bar from Peace by Chocolate.
