Our dinner was fantastic. We were celebrating a special occasion had a wonderful glass of French wine and calamari to start with and then our main meals consisted of 2 crabcakes, asparagus and couscous and a 14 ounce NY strip steak with roasted potatoes and spinach, was outstanding. We had great wine recommendations to pair from our server, Kim. Dessert consisted of a homemade pie made by Lorraine , the owner, with fruit and vanilla ice cream!

Had an excellent dinner at Harbor. All dishes were excellently prepared. The restaurant is beautiful, quiet and has large outdoor dining options.

Food was very good. However, the ambiance was lacking. We were seated in a large room, even though they acknowledged it was our anniversary. The tables and chairs were nondescript, looked like they came right out of a second hand store. No candle or flowers on the table, also, no tablecloth or placemats. We may be back, but would sit at the bar if we do.

Thank you for your comments and we are happy you enjoyed the food. We have found that ambiance and taste are subjective. What may not appeal to one person will appeal to many others. We feel our large window views of the Harbour are the real focus and classic simplicity fits well with the Nantucket style of the building. With the exception of 2 rather valuable antique pieces all of our quality solid wood tables and chairs were purchased new in 2020, not from a "second hand store". We have since that time also upgraded where needed and replaced items that were worn out. We keep fresh flowers throughout the restaurant, although not on the tables as it makes them cluttered when food is served. Hopefully you will return another time and find the bar more to your liking.

The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the cheeseboard, salads, cocktails and wine. The main courses (braised beef brisket, grilled ribeye, and pan seared scallops) were perfectly prepared and delicious. I recommend the desserts (peach and berry pie, chocolate cake, and crème brûlée. Service was somewhat slow, perhaps because the restaurant was crowded. The waitress was great. Last, but not least, the view of the harbor is wonderful; try to get outdoor seating if the weather permits. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Harbour is our go to restaurant for out-of-town guests. On this particular occasion, it was actually a request of our guests because they had been there last year and loved it. Tammy was a wonderful waitress, and as always, the food was delicious. Plus you can’t beat that view!

Thought it was cute; the daily specials menu and the dinner menu both had notes from "the chef" that there were no substitutions, my yellow fin tuna was served with a very nice brown rice pilaf which "the chef" substituted for the baby bok chop. All good, the "pot pourri pie" was delicious!

We just had an incredible dinner at Harbour at Canal Square. September is the BEST time of year for crab dishes, and the weather is perfect this week. Highly recommend making your own reservations for the patio if you love seafood with a pretty view.

We celebrated my wife's birthday for the 2nd year in a row here and there is a reason that we returned. The food is just outstanding and the ambiance by the water is very peaceful and relaxing. We ate outside on the deck and we love that they don't play music outside and just let the sounds of the water and breeze be our background music! Conversation is very easily! It became a little chilly for my wife and they offered her a blanket to wrap around her shoulders which really kept her warm throughout the meal. The scallops and crab crake entrées were to die for! Afterwards, the Potpourri Pie with vanilla ice cream is probably the best dessert on the menu! Give it a try and see if you agree! Ghandi our waiter was just fantastic and very attentive and helpful! Thank You for making my wife's Birthday dinner another great one! This is definitely in the top 3 of our favorite restaurants! We will eat here again next year when we are back in Delaware! :-)
