Afternoon Tea at the Harbour Loft on St Michael’s Mount is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or complete a visit to this enchanting island. Head Chef Greg Milne has created a menu inspired by fresh Cornish produce to be enjoyed on our unique island setting, with sea views north and the backdrop of the castle to the south.

Precisely-cut sandwiches are accompanied by freshly-baked cakes and pastries; while traditional treats boast creative twists. Choose from an extensive selection of Tregothnan tea or add a little fizz with a glass of sparkling wine, produced in a Cornish vineyard just a stone’s throw from the Mount.

    Every flavour was distinct and mouthwatering and, the atmosphere was light and relaxing. 10/10 for the old school house!

    The booking had our dietary requirements, and the food was served efficiently. All waitresses were charming and gave interesting feedback (they have to walk to and from the mainland or have free ferry rides). Really enjoyable.

    Lovely restaurant for Afternoon Tea on St. Michael’s Mount but location unfortunately didn’t offer views. Staff were friendly and considerate. Felt a little cold as the main door was wide open but otherwise we had a great time. The food was delicious but it felt a little overpriced, however, would recommend for a nice treat.

    Lovely location but service dwindled as it got busier had to get up and ask for another coffee then up again for more jam and cream and had to get up yet again to ask for the bill Did had cash for a tip but decided it wasn’t to be given sorry
