Afternoon Tea at the Harbour Loft on St Michael’s Mount is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or complete a visit to this enchanting island. Head Chef Greg Milne has created a menu inspired by fresh Cornish produce to be enjoyed on our unique island setting, with sea views north and the backdrop of the castle to the south.

Precisely-cut sandwiches are accompanied by freshly-baked cakes and pastries; while traditional treats boast creative twists. Choose from an extensive selection of Tregothnan tea or add a little fizz with a glass of sparkling wine, produced in a Cornish vineyard just a stone’s throw from the Mount.

Excellent food served by friendly staff. Allergies and intolerances were accommodated readily and without fuss. A lovely afternoon.

This was a wonderful experience The staff were welcoming and attentive when needed The food is beautifully presented, and showed expertise in taste combinations , especially in the savoury and cake courses . Would go again in the blink of an eye

Whilst I had hoped the food would be nice, nothing prepared me for just how beautiful the food actually was! The service was impeccable & all staff were fully attentive. But the food was outstanding! I cannot fault a single thing about any aspect of my visit. Booking was super straightforward, the restaurant was spotless and everything was just super easy and enjoyable. Even the other diners were a pleasure to share a space with. I am so glad I did this and totally recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you!

We had heard good things about the afternoon tea and we're not disappointed. The food was gorgeous. Every element was thoughtful, tasty and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself was lovely.

A lovely tea for two well presented and nice food home made and not brought in one of the best we have had, would use again if we return to St Michaels mount.

Expensive for the experience and ambiance. Service was really slow. Waited a fair while for a drink. There was no check back or offer of a second drink. Sandwiches were nice flavours but quite plainly presented. The Little cakes were lovely with amazing flavours but that’s where the love was. It was a wedding anniversary treat and no mention was made at all.

Wow..! What a fantastic experience for a special birthday treat. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our needs ... Which were many! The food is a triumph. The space is simply beautiful. The team are a delight from the the moment we arrived. I cannot recommend this more highly - it's a cut above all other afternoon teas that I've experienced.
